Utterly Frustrated

Boo hoo! Last week I lost 3 lbs and was ecstastic - and this week I have put it all back on (and I stayed in my points). This is doubly frustrating because I am living with 2 others ladies who are on a health kick with me - both of them have lost weight but don't count their points. And out of the 3 of us I am the only one doing a regular workout too - at least 30 mins shadow boxing a day which leaves me worn out.

Its just frustrating putting weight back on when I have sooooo much to lose and am trying so hard.

Don't fret my dear - it could just be your body getting used to the diet and to the exercise. Stick to your points again this week and you should see a loss next week.
This happened to me first time round on WW (a few weeks back) - so I gave up and put on some more lbs. I did a re-start 4 weeks ago and am down 6lbs now. Okay it's slow but at least it's coming off. I am doing no exercise at all and know once I start the lbs should start MELTING. :p

Thankyou Lady V, sometimes you just need someone else to tell you it hasnt all gone wrong. ;)

And I realised too that the pounds might be stubborn but my thighs have shrunk down a couple of cm - so not all hope is lost, I must be toning up a little bit so at least all that excerise is having some effect. Phew!

If I am being terribly honest now (which I am) I prefer to see myself toning up and getting into smaller clothes compared to standing on a scales and seeing the weight go down. Does this make sense? Sometimes the numbers can make me go mental. I was just over 12 stone a few years back but still was a Size 16 but people always thought I was wearing a 12. They nearly died when I used to show them the labels.

Hehe, it makes perfect sense actually. :)

When I started this health kick I can actually remember saying no scales, I don't want to know I will do it all with a tape measure - but then I decided to rejoin WW so tracking my weight followed. Its weird really how we obsess about one number and avoid the ones that actually prove we are getting smaller (even if the scales try to trick us and say no change). ;)

You've probably gained weight in muscle from the excerise I wouldn't worry :)

Sorry to hear that the scales are being mean, my weight fluctuates due to water retention but the inches still come off each week, I think us women are all the same, I wouldn't worry and carry on, I'm sure the scales will show a loss soon xx
