Hi guys, I've been on a journey everywhere. It started with Slimming world, CD, JUDDD, SouthBeach and now I'm over to slimfast.

I've put a time limit of how long I plan to remain on this plan and it's from today (21 Sept) right through to 10 November 2010. In that time I hope to lose two stones, more would be a delight.

The reason why I've chosen to do that period is two years ago I did CD for about 8 weeks and lost approximately 34 pounds, all of which I have gained back and some, and I didn't exercise. Now I will. I plan to do 3 gym classes per week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. So this is certainly help the process.

I've decided to adapt the plan a little to give the best weight loss possible. I plan to have nuts, protein shakes, plain yogurt, boiled eggs, cottage cheese, tin tuna, generally anything high in protein also my evening meal will have no carbs but could include beans and pulses.

I will have no fruit during the week, peas, beets or sweetcorn as they are all high in carbs (by way of sugar) but will on weekends when things are more difficult and I'll probably need something sweet then. I'm going to try and cut out alcohol for this period also (worth a try!).

I know this sounds too restrictive and probably is but its only for a short period of time anyhow. Thereafter not what diet plan I will chose but no need to worry about that for now. One step at a time :)
