:sigh: So this girl at work has just had a gastric band, So now I think my weight loss (if any) this week is going to appear really rubbish,

I've been really good and am trying so hard but watching the weight drop off her so Quickly is a little disheartening for me,

I am now the Fattest girl at work  Please let this work as I haven't got a spare £7000 :sigh:

Dont let yourself be the 'fattest' girl at work. you can do this. Sw can do this for you minus the 7grand hole in your pocket! Atleast youl be the only girl at work with some real willpower (sorry, no offence to anyone whos had a band!) and followed a sensible healthy eating plan!

just keep telling yourself 'you might loose the weight fast but i dont NEED a gastric band' and if it makes you feel any better, shoot her some dirty looks when shes not looking. This always makes me feel better.. its like being mean but not really haha

xx

Don't worry about her - yes her weight might come off quicker than yours, but she isn't going to be able to enjoy her food the same way ever again!

Slow and steady....

thanks girls, I guess i'm just feeling like I want a magic wand this evening, I have a long stretch ahead to get me where I want to be, but I am finding EE much easier to fit in with the children this time so hoping I can stick with it,

you can stick to it. I know what you mean though, but you have to snap out of it now before you let it ruin how well youv been doing!!! xxxxxx

Yes I will, good day today, in fact been a pretty good first week, even If I have spent most of working out if I could afford a gb lol, I know this diet works I've seen ppl loose on it, I will be thin(er) :)

Everyone's weight loss is different - so your loss this week won't be as great as hers. your loss though is through your own efforts and will be rewarding to you when you get them - as hers will be to her.

Slimming World/Food Optimising works - without the risks and expense. and if you want it - you can get to where you want to be without an operation.

Carry on as you're doing and don't compare to anyone elses (by whatever means) - it is truly a very personal journey.
