So, I'm a MASSIVE fan of porridge, can't go a day without it! I usually make it with water and add sweetener to make it a bit more tasty without the added calories of making it with milk, sugar, golden syrup etc etc...
However, today I ran out of sweetner! Heartbreaking I know...
And I had a little brainwave... I made myself some porridge but with half water, half double concentrate blackcurrent and apple cordial...
The result? YUM!
Oh my golly gosh wow, was so yummy and sweet and sticky and fruity, without any added calories of the afore mentioned! And I'm going to try it with loads of different flavoured cordials, I'm a little excited at the thought of this!!
But yes, I just had to share that with people!!
