Now, we all know that this forum is amazing for support, but I thought I'd share something I found rather surprising, and hopefully encouraging to anyone thinking about starting Cambridge, or really all TFR diet.
I was really nervous about starting CD, not because of the shakes or anything like that, but because of what my family would say: I live at home still (only 19!) and we're all quite close, so I knew they'd all find out eventually.
I told my mum, and she was a little concerned, but agreed with me in the end, and besides, I was an adult, so I could do what I want. My girlfriend has been nothing but supportive. Telling my dad and sister was okay, the latter asked plenty of questions, and asks me how I'm doing and is generally being great.
My brother, now I thought he would tell me I'm being stupid, or completely piss on my efforts in one way or another, but he's actually been awesome too. Again, lots of questions, but I'll I've had is wonderful concerned support. It's great. I hope anyone thinking about starting has the courage to just tell people - because sometimes they surprise you ^^
My dad was so impressed, he's actually going to start it himself.
