anyone having 4 packs a day

spyro2008

I will never give up
hi i was just reading the little booklet that came with the packs and it said if your very active or have a lot of weight to lose than you can have 4 packs a day. i was just wandering if anyone is doing this if so just wandered what your losses have been like

i dunno, i would stick to 3 really (and i have 9 stone to lose) and only have a 4th as a real last resort if i was struggling. xx

I am, I had 3 the first day but went to 4 from day 2. I am extremely sporty, doing 2 hard workouts a day. Its only been a few days but I've sttled into the routine of half a pack before and after each workout, half a pack for lunch and half in he evening, then using a couple of spoonfuls of the vanilla in each cup of coffee to make them 'milky'. My first weigh in will be Sunday but a peek this morning showed a loss of 4lb since Sunday.

well done mudbabe thats great keep us posted on total loss for the week.

I think for the time being I'll be having 4 packs a day. I've got a lot to lose (10 stone) and I'm breastfeeding, so I think I need the extra calories. I'll see how it goes, and drop to three a little way down the line.

Have you checked with Exante that you should be doing a VLCD when breastfeeding??? CD dont allow nursing mothers to do their plans

I have 4 and have really good losses (when I am 100%), I also work out daily. I occasionally drop down to 3 if I'm not hungry.

i havnt actually spoke to exante but i did speak to a lighterlife councillor who said that as long as your baby's eating food and not having breastmilk as its main soource of food then its perfectly fine as my son is nearly 11 months so has 3 main meals and only comes to me for comfort and to quench his thirst and havnt had any probs so far but i wouldnt recommend if your babys not having 3 meals a day. i mite actually call exante up and double check thanks starlight

Hi everyone - I have spoken to Exante re the breastfeeding issue and you can do this (as long as your milk not babies sole source of nutrition- weaned on solids) but they would like you to discuss with your G.P ideally or HV. I was a bit worried about my supply and they advised to perhaps consider doing the plan where you eat conventional food too - I think a lot of the dr's I know are against VLCD's full stop nevermind if breastfeeding! I'm still doing the diet but eating conventional foods too and was still getting really good losses initially - I've gone a bit haywire recently but thats entirely my fault

thanks hun i did e-mail them yesterday but didnt hear back yet. il probably stop soon anyway as he eats so much normal food.

I think I might end up having 5 packs today (or 4 and aprotein shake) as doing a 3rd workout later!!! Not ideal but for now I think I prefer having no real food at all to trying to restrict myself to a small amount.

I only plan on the 3. To be honest there is some days (when I did CD before) that I struggled to get 3 shakes down me! The temptation for me was always to only have 2 but I knew it would be bad for me...there was times hubby had to literally sit and watch me til I necked one! weird but true....if only the same applied to pasta and pizza:)

i just received this from exante.

Hello Danielle,

Yes it will be fine for you to continue with the programme but we advise
that you should speak with your health visitor with regards to being on a
Very Low Calorie diet while you are still occasionally breastfeeding baby.

Kind Regards

Customer Care

I allow myself 4 if I need them. I find this usually leads to me not needing 4 ;)
