I just came back from eating a yum mushroom and spinach risotto. There is no 'contact us' on their website, so I can't check the syns. Is risotto generally cooked in oil? or have cream added? I am doing green today so may not be toooo bad, said she hopefully! Oh and a little parmesan on top as hex a.

Okay, so a risotto base is normally onion and garlic fried in butter or oil then the rice is slightly fried. Add a glass of white wine (oh yes!) and then there may be oil swirled into it at the end.
A classic risotto will have butter added once it's finished cooking to glaze it.

To be honest, there's just no point in guessing syns of restaurant meals. You ate it and can't undo it. Just move on and forget it!
