Planning cs

Hey Guys,
I have done cs in the past but have never been very successful, mainly because i struggle with no carbs, i am a carb monster. On the plus side i love the shakes and i have done most of the shake diets and not liked any of them.
So after faffing about on ww for a while losing and gaining the same 7lbs, i've decided i really need to do something as i'm pretty miserable at the moment. So my plan is start on cs but just having a healthy meal in the evening and slowly phase out carbs, my theory is it'll help me stick to it.
I'm loving the sound of the new flavours and be interested to no if the supplements work.
 
Hi Nicki, I am starting CS for the first time today have previously done CD but like the idea of CS being a bit more flexible. So far so good today - I know its only 12pm but I would normally of given up by now and declared that my diet would start tomorrow. Hope to see you on here quite a bit this side of the forum has been so quiet lately. Good luck with your plan - sometime I think we all have to do it in a way that suits us - we are all individual at the end of the day so good luck and hope it works for you this way.
 
Thanks Tink, i went and got a starter pack today as i have no idea where my book went and i wanted another shaker anyway. I got mine from superdrug as its near work but i think i'll go to rowlands next time as they have my variety, superdrug only had mint choc from the new flavours. I just wish you could pick 14 of the flavours you like because i don't like all the ones in the mixed box but i don't want all one flavour for a week, i loved the chocolate one so i'm betting i'll love the mint choc and choc orange. Hows your day going? are you missing carbs yet? I'm officially starting wednesday, tomorrow is my day off and there isn't much point starting as being on my own all day means i eat, but at least i can eat some of the none cs friendly stuff,

Well I've just completed day 2 - found it really easy to be honest compared to CD and ketostick already showing signs of ketosis so happy days - My pharmacy sell the packs individually doesnt yours? I am surprised as well at how yummy the shakes are I wouldnt say I particularly love the flavours but they go down easily unlike any other diet shakes Ive had plus they mix really well no more lumpy bits always a bonus - felt a bit rough earlier but had a load of water and soon felt better. Good luck with tomorrow you can do it - I'll try to get on as much as I can as seems like we are the only ones on this at the moment.

Hey chick, how was today for you? I had a complete disaster as i forgot my shaker so decided just to start tomorrow, only had a coke bottle with me and didn't want to waste a shake. I've got some nuts and apples for my snacks and had a few ideas for different dinner, i found out my fav coleslaw is quite low carb even lower the nuts, so i'll be having lots of salads for tea. x

Today was fine for me - honestly cant believe how easy I'm finding this diet - had beef stirfry for dinner so yummy and filling - i've been shopping today and stocked up on loads of fruit and veg. Been to the gym this evening and had proper good workout I love being in ketosis I get this amazing high and feel really motivated - only prob with it is I find it hard to sleep but hey I can cope with that as long as I'm losing weight. Good luck with you start tomorrow - completely understand that if you not sorted its hard to start so hopefully day 1 is tomorrow for you. Hope you get through the day ok I think the first day is always the hardest cos thats when you have to make the commitment to start and I always feel a bit sorry for myself but hopefully after a few days you'll be buzzing like me. Good luck let me know how is going tomorrow night. Glad you came up with some ideas for dinners - i'm taking it as it comes not really planning much find it easier that way. You planning on doing any exercise during your diet?
 
Thats good, i hope i feel that good because today i'm feeling rough. I think i'm coming down with something as i had to go to bed at 8.30 last night and this morning i was sick in the sink while trying to make the shake, so hadn't even drunk it yet. It was a caramel one but it made me feel sicker so i didn't drink much. In the first few days were you really hungry? i've had a few extra nuts and some cumumber during the day just to get me through the day, tonight i'm having a pork chop with coleslaw, mushrooms and cucumber. Does that sound ok?
 
oh and and i forgot, i do hope to do some exercise but being 21 stone odd, its a bit of an effort tomorrow, i'd like to start swimming but i'm a little nervous about going
 
awww sorry your not feeling well, hope your feeling better soon! - How did the rest of the day go? Your dinner sounds fine to me - I'm no expert though - I did feel a bit hungry but tried to space out my meals evenly and found that help plus when i was hungry I drank loads of water.
I know what you mean about exercise being an effort but honestly once you get used to going it will definately be worth while plus there is loads of benefits too one being that you wont have to be on the diet so long! - Also what really motivates me to go to the gym is the thought of saggy skin and being really untoned - dont be nervous about going do you have anyone to go with? If you are really feeling hungry then cucumber is definately one of the best things to have so dont feel guilty about it if it helps you stay on track then have it.

I've struggled to stay on track today had a bad day with lots of things going wrong in my personal life and thats always hard for me as I am a proper comfort eater but I stayed strong and made it through the day havent even had my last snack yet and its nearly midnight - so I'm pleased with myself and it sets me up now if I know I can get through a day like today then I can get through any day! (hopefully!!!)
 
hey chick how you getting on today?
 
Cs is hard I am restarting it next week. What i find is around about the 10 day mark I start to really get cranky without my carbs. But there is never any harm in adding a tiny tiny portion of carbs with your evening meal. I normally just add a small potato that i have cut up into pieces I never really finish eating them but its always nice to have something if you crave it. I know its naughty but I become rather difficult to live with if i don't have some sort of carbs once a week
