constantly Hungry?!

Mrscush

Woman on a mission!
I have been doing EE for the last 3 weeks religiously and have lost 4lb which im chuffed with so far. Have been having my 3 meals a day and doing exercise - all good, however - this week (mainly yest and today) I am constantly hungry!! I drink 2-3L water per day, so i know i am not thirsty. * next week, so wondering if that might be it?

I shoudnt be hungry - today I have had:
B - 2 weetabix, mullerlight, banana
L- mugshot, cooked chicken, fruit salad

anyone else have weeks when they just cant satisfy a grumbling tum? :flirt2:

if you are worried about eating more at meal times try and fill yourself with superfree snacks so fruit and veg.

It has been suggested to try and stay awake from snacking on things such as mugshots more than once a day because although they are low in syns the nutritional value is high.. some people find the calories is significant even if the syn value is low, it all depends on how slimming world works for you and the way you interept things.

Many people take the diet in different ways and which ever way works for you is what you should stick with, some people eat a lot of high caloried low syned food and still lose weight and others don't you need to do what works best for you and your body and take whatever anyone says with a pinch of salt until you have looked into it and know for yourself. No one knows everything.. no one else knows your body.

I wish you luck x

I have to admit i'm feeling a bit like that today and its not * week, so i am having a few stodgy meals all on plan to keep the cravings at bay.

Have just eaten chicken, chips and beans and this morning I made a baked milk rice pudding.

Feeling much more happy now :D

good luck keeping it under control.

Congrats on your weight loss so far! I definitely have days like that where I need to eat more filling foods. Jacket potato & beans, SW chips etc as I just feel hungry.

From the food you have eaten so far, I'd say you could have a bit more and if you are hungry - eat!

How about some fat free yoghurt with fresh fruit, crudites and cottage cheese or a couple boiled eggs?

The best thing you can do is fill up to satisfy your hunger, so would agree that it might be an idea to have larger servings and if you need more pasta/potatoes etc, then do have them! Just balance out with your super free fruit & veggies.

i have days when i feel i can eat or day then days when not that hungry, i usually fill up on fruit, carrots with homemade hummous dip and yogurts.

thanks for your suggestions! it is true that some days i am the opposite and not hungry at all!

I have made mysef a coffee and got a big apple, so that will do me till tea time later. I am thinking quorn sausages with mash, beans and onion gravy (bovril). yum yum!

yep i get like that....i mostly eat something every few hours!!
today for example i had a danone activia ff yogurt and a big plate of fruit for breakfast....at 11 i then had 2 chocolate weetabix and milk then for lunch i had a 3 egg omlette with tinned tomatoes.
when i get back from school after picking kids up i'll have a snack of some sort....then of course my tea(having chicken stew with lots of brocolli on side)...then a little while after jelly then a while after that my syns!
im always hungry and i need to eat...thats why slimming world is so great for me because thats exactly what i can do! as long as you are eating the right things dont be scared to eat and fill up.

I always make suremy fridge has lots of free food that I can pick on when I get the snacking bug. I have always been a terrible picker comes from years of working in catering and pinching potatoes of the hotplate.

As above - fill up with mainly free or superfree snacks.
This is SW - there is NO rule telling you to eat three meals a day. Eat until YOU are satisfied, following the principles of making the most of free & super free foods xx

I have been starving the last couple of days! think it will be * week next week, so maybe just due to that!

Have an extra meal or bigger portions as has been suggested already. I've been told eat until you're full, so if that means an extra meal so be it.

I'm led to believe the weight loss comes from eating food in the right proportions, nothing said about amount.

Hunger and cravings = binging for me, but I can keep the cravings at bay if i'm not hungry.
