hey all.

have had such a bad day. still been stickin to diet but i am sooooo down about not losing anything this week.

:break_diet:

i have just hoked out all of my old ww books and am seriously contemplating doing the old ww core plan diet on my own.
i just cant get to grips with the fact that i stuck 100% to cambridge and ive lost nothing in a week. just starting to wonder how worth it this really is. when i stick to ww i can lose 5lb in a week and be eating like a horse.
and i'm missing not being able to go do a good workout at the gym because i feel too weak and even after a long walk feel as if i ready to pass out.
i am looking at this as an experience and if i decide to change sure what the hell..i still lost 5lb from doing so.

ive just completely lost all heart in this now and i think u need to be focused 100% to keep at it.

any opinions and comments greatly appreciated xx

Hello... I did CD last year, returning again tmoz. I used to lose every other week! I'd stick to the plan but not lose anything one week, or sometimes even for two weeks n then i'd catch up with a whooshie the next week. Stick with it a little longer hun n see how things go next wi.

Sorry you've been having a crappy time with CD.

Losses are hit & miss for some people but there can be a number of reasons why you didnt lose first week..although rare..as everyone i read on here does lose the first week? so im not sure what happend there..but v frustrating for you!

I had few times i lose not a pound..then a big loss the following week

Cambridge IS brilliant if stuck to 100% and you WILL see results i promise

WW is a fantastic diet i absolutely love it!!! but i cant control my food enough to stay on it right now..otherwise id be eternally skinny!! lol

Chin up

I'm sorry that you are so disheartened with the diet, I am wondering if the workouts are preventing the weight loss, honestly everytime I do anything very active, I have noticed I dont lose but when I just do my daily routine, the weight loss restarts. It seems mad I know but I just wonder if it might be associated.

Hi hon, as someone who's been through exactly what you are going through I can sympathise with you fully. It IS so dis-heartening to know you've put your heart and soul into this only to then feel like you are not getting anything back in return.
I have lost just 10lbs in over 3 weeks and it has really gotten me down at times, but I have had to fight the urge to rebel as I know it will only cost me dear the following week.
I went of CD for one day last week and didn't even really eat much, yet still gained 3lbs that has taken me 5 days of sole sourcing to get back off. This was all triggered by losing only 1lb in a week despite giving it 100%.
Stay strong and know that me and so many others on here have been through what you are going through.
It was thanks to the support and advice on here that I ploughed on, and yes, the weight is coming off me really slowly, but I know I have to stick to it and I WILL get there. You will too.
You can do this hon, stay focused and know that you will probs have a fab loss next week. You are doing the diet so it must come off!
Best of luck to you hon. xx

I've found that too! If I increase my walking, I either stay the same or lose just an odd pound! haha.

thanks for the kind comments girls,

i havent actually done any excercise apart from 1 walk since being on the diet....maybe i didnt explain this in my post properlly. its because i dont feel that i can excercise that its bugging me. i dont feel that i have nough energy to do so. im scared of passing out if i do. and i love excercising and am frustrated that i not able to. i want to be able to tone and excercise as i lose the weight.

so, after much consideration and and speaking with family etc i have decided i am going to stop CD and give ww core plan another go.
i have been to tesco tonight and have bought core plan foods to begin in the morning.
i have been over to the ww forum and had a nosey and feel that this is the right thing to do.

so thanks everyone for ur support over the last few weeks and i wissh u all well in ur CD journey. i will keep u updated on how i am getting on. xx

It sounds like you are doing the right thing for you, best of luck with WW, I always find it good, when I get near to goal, I am considering changing over to WW

yes best of luck on ww , you have to do whats right for you and your body and if you feel your losses were better on ww then it would be stupid of you not to go back to what suits your body better. I lost my 1st 2stone on ww last year so i know the ww plan is good . Keep us posted on how you are getting on . Goodluck !

Good luck hunni,

here's to new you in a different way! Xxx

good luck with your chosen plan and hope it all goes well for you.

Hi all,

On the subject of working out... My only motivation for doing so at this time is that I am sooo worried about loose skin. I have been moisturising daily, hoping that will help. But I am wondering what your experiences are? I don't think I can handle any serious cardio work outs currently, but I think I could manage using weights. But then I know muscle weighs more than fat, and am worried that will affect my losses....Any thoughts on this? Would really appreciate it! Thank you!
