Am thinking of starting Atkins soon and wondering if I would gain water weight from Liptrim to Atkins?
Can someone tell me what food I can eat that has no carbs?
How many carbs in eggs?
Any tips would be great?
Am finding it so so HARD on TFR L xx
 
also what weight loss would i expect? xx
 
Hiya, you shouldn't gain weight going straight from TFR to Atkins Induction, in fact others have reported a loss. As for what you can eat, if you go to the Atkins site there is a list of food and there's also a sticky here by Jim which tells you what to expect. Basically on induction you have up to 20g of carbs. It's a bit confusing coming from TFR but you soon get a handle on it. No carbs in meat, fish or eggs. Hope this helps but I'm new coming from Exante. I'm sure others will be along soon with more advice :)
 
I think it's a perfect diet to transfer to from TFR, the reason being is your body retains alot of water through eating starchy foods, and low carb eating often has a diuretic effect. Good luck
 
I'm coming from Exante and have gone down 1 pound over the last 2 days.
I think I'd class myself as low carb rather than Atkins though as I'm not eating cream and some of the more fatty stuff.

I've decided to give this a shot and if it doesn't work as quick as I like I'll go back to tfr but so far I'm really happy with the switch!
 
so far not had any difficultys in transfering over from cambridge with weight gain very happy i did the swap as my energry levels now allow me to do alot more than on TMR

I did lipotrim for 6 weeks and currently do atkins at the weekend and lipotrim with an evening meal during the week (just during September, busy party month he he) and i've found that i have lost average 3-4lb a week doing this. I did stall last weekend has drank a gallon of Vodka, and a little biscuit and 5 pringles but not bothered as the weight has stayed off and it was my birthday. I will be eating more for the next party in two weeks but though i would do this in the mean time. Best advice is as everyone has sed. Print off the atkins info and stick it to your kitchen cupboards (i have) and have your scales to hand. It doesnt look much when you weigh it out but you would be surprised what you can actually stomach (i managed 2 chicken drumsticks and a bit of salad and was completley stuffed). also look at what to buy and where on the forum. If you need any other help, everyone is brilliant!!!! for advice :)
