Im eating today!!!!!

OK, so Im supposed to be on TFR for another 10days then refeed, blend to Atkins.... Im doing it from today instead...

Last few days I have felt really quite sickly... Ive never been really hungry on TFR but last few days I have been starving, stomach rumbling and growling all the time, I can feel my Kidneys/Liver (not sure which) aching ... Very dizzy and hazy most of the time,, feels like Im proper undernourished and suffering from lack of energy.. My body has been screaming at me....

I have a theory, be interested to see if you guys agree/disagree..
I think as Ive been on TFR for 6.5weeks and lost so much fat so quick the reserves are now so low that is why Im feeling ill and need to refeed... Im just at 15stone 2lb now... I know there is still fat reserves on my body but hell they are an awful lot lower than 6 weeks ago. I guess back then my body could easily find it and burn it for energy... I am like a strip of wind now with only a small ammount of fat to lose. I guess my body cant get enough quick enough which is why it is telling me to stop.... I just feel so ill...

Today Im having the 2 shakes as normal but Ive made up a plate of Chicken Breast strips to have this afternoon.. high protein, low fat, low carb....

As Im going to blend to Atkins Im aware that while im still having shakes I dont wanna OD on fat which is why Im keeping low fat at the mo - once ive done the full switch fat dont matter...

Mahn its gonna be starge puttin this chicken in my mouth later on! LOL

Im happy to post up my daily intakes etc but not sure if Im allowed to do so on here as its a TFR section??? Will I get a Moderator all over my case? Do I care? LOL Ill leave it to you guys to let me know...:) I dont wanna talk about food if its gonna make TFR people think about it....
 
Congratulations on your weight loss Nick. I think you have made a good decision, if you are feeling like that then it is time to start a balanced diet again. Some folks don't mind food talk, I still do all the cooking in the house...it making me keep a bit of normality about my diet. Wait and see what feedback you get. Good luck with your goal in any case.

Ive adjusted my target to a realistic and sensible 14 and half stone now which should be just right for me....

I felt exactly the same regarding hunger this last week and with the dizziness. I started feeling a bit better yesterday and have decided to try a final 2 weeks on TFR before going to the refeed. Let me know how you're getting on. I'm aiming for 4st off in 8 weeks if I can shift 10lbs over the next fortnight. That will free me up enough to step up some training. Don't be a stranger, you are one of the 1st posters I check for on here as we seem to be very similar in weight loss and start times.
 
Well done on your amazing losses so far Nick , you know your own body best and it sounds like you have given it a lot of thought .I will be very interested to follow your progress as I plan to do the same when I finish LT. Im not sure yet if I will get to target or swap when I feel its time as you have done. Keep posting Nick ! Good luck with your next stage xx

Sean - yeah i was hoping for 10lbs in next fortnight too (well 11 days) who knows it may still come off, i intend to go to my goal, but i been struggling with the ill feeling for quite a few days now and just gettin worse... sure Ill be fine and Im gonna take the blend to Atkins gradual, should be on full Atkins in 2-3 days i reckon... just gonna decide how to play it each day as to what I eat etc... and yeah same here, i always look for your posts mate! makes good comparisons! Ill post up on this thread how Im gettin on so the Mod Police dont get me :)

I think food posts are OK here, it's the 100% spin-off that it's frowned on. I'd a low loss this week but added to last week and I'm well happy. I also drank a load of water before weigh-in before realising. Added to pumping my guns *kisses guns* the last week there is hopefully a bit of muscle mass in there also.
 
yeah but when you look at last weeks loss for you it was exceptionally high... its just balancing out. i always found mine to be about 6lb a week in all acuracy. sometimes the pharmacist figures were different due to clothes, water intake blah blah blah... your doing great mate...

Yeah, I was expecting it low so I'm still well happy. Uncanny how similar our weight-losses have been. You've some weight-loss journey these past few years. Amazing losses.
 
yeah been a bit of a yo-yo struggling from super morbidly obese to scrawny strip of p***. lol, went through 3 surgeries last year too to remove skin and excess tissue. i done all the hard work of dieting by myself though.. kinda lost it this year when it started piling back on but glad i got hold of myself before it went too far... i just really need to maintain now... watch this space! ;)

Sounds like you're doing much what I am now. I'm a week and a half in to 'refeed', and still on two shakes plus one protein meal per day, no carbs at all, in ketosis, and still losing, so it's quite possible you'll lose those last few pounds fairly easily. :D

I think (hope!) you're allowed to post about food on this forum - as Sean says, it's the 100% forum which is for totally food-free posts.

Let us know how it's going. I'm very interested to see how your losses go. :)
 
yeah ive never really ventured into the other sections on the forum but just went into TFR and saw the warning, but there is no warning on this section so should be OK... Im planning on coming off the shakes completely in a couple of days, just blending the full switch to atkins carefully...

I can hear a tin of tuna calling to me from the kitchen!
