A couple of questions...

I'm looking to switch from exante onto a low carb diet very soon but want to make sure I am prepared as possible as I don't want any slip ups!
I'm quite used to staying away from bread/pasta/spuds do that's not a problem but I'm trying to work out how to maximise my weight loss!!

Firstly, those mims sound lovely but would I do better, at first at least without them?

Secondly, does anyone think weight loss will be affected by coke zero? I've been drinking nothing but water for sooo long and I find coke zero helps keep my mind off other things!

Thirdly...I really want to get into Ketosis. Is there anything in particular (bar the obvious) to avoid or eat plenty of?
I have read the 'so you're thinking of starting' sticky but I'm just wondering if anyone knew what helped/hindered them particularly?!!

Hi Lisa, I don't like coke, so not sure about that, but I do drink 7up free, and it has made no difference. I also drink (very weak...just a tinge) of no added sugar orange cordial as I hate water on it's own, and again it hasn't affected me. You will find it affects some and not others, but you will get to know what hinders you and what doesn't by trial and error I think. Everyone's body's are different.
 
Oh, and you're already in ketosis with a VLCD like Exante - that's why Atkins is such a shoe-in afterwards!

Nope, since I left lipotrim and started exante I haven't got into ketosis. It's why I'm so eager to start low carbing I think as it's endless torture on the vlcd!
 
You should be fine with a mim on induction - only way is to try it. They were my lifeline when I first started but I can go days now without needing one. Still enjoy them, it is a texture thing I think.
