Looking for some explanation !!

Hi, I have been on the management program for 3 days. It may be just a coincidence but i have come out in a rash "everywhere" !! went to see my GP yesterday she said it was a severe allergic reaction. For my first day i had some organic turkey slices yesterday i had some salmon and it seems to be worse.

Has anyone else had a reaction introducing food again or am i just "strange"

Does anyone have any ideas ? Its not measles or chicken pox well not yet anyway :cry:

You poor thing... what an awful thing to happen to ya when starting to re-feed.... maybe try introducing bland ish foods first or foods that aren't associated normally with allergies??

Thanks Gen, will just try some chicken. Have been back to GP and spots are definatley not chicken pox or measles - "phew" thank goodness.

Well done you for doing so well ~ keep up the good work.

Not much help but I do have a friend who is allergic to turkey. Apparently it has an enzyme in it which isn't so much in chicken. If the rash goes maybe try salmon again on it's own and see how you get on. Good luck, Lx

poor you! I think someone is trying to test your resolve with management, only a few days in but you have had an interesting time!!

I 'fell off the LL wagon' for a couple of days over the weekend and came out in the most amazing hives!

They are huge great red mounds of itchyness!!

Hives are supposed to be an allergic reaction to something or other - I am wondering if they are linked to me eating 'normal food' after so many weeks.
