Here we go again!
Hi all. Well I'm on day 3 of refeeding and not able to eat all that I'm supposed to. So far I've had 2 maintenance packs a day and one proper meal. I just couldn't fit in 2 meals yesterday or today. I will really try to from tomorrow though.

Day 1
B - Strawberry Shake

D - Maintenance Bar

T - Chicken and salad (lovely!!)

Day 2
B - Maintenance Bar

D - Tuna and salad (lovely again!!)

T - Choc Whip

Day 3
B - Maintenance Bar

D - Choc Whip

T - Chicken, salad and small baked potato (really enjoyed the potato, I'm not usually a big potato eater)

Day 4
B - Maintenance Bar

D - Chicken and salad sandwich

T - Tuna, jacket potato and small salad

Snack - Grapes


May have a little rice with some chicken for tea on Wednesday.

I'm finding myself very, very full after a little while after eating my meals. I didn't feel that last time refeeding and honestly could have eaten more. Many people wrote how they couldn't finish their meals or eat what they were supposed to and I thought I was doing something wrong. This time I totally understand that very full feeling and not wanting to snack on anything between the meals so far.

Really going to work hard at this refeed and maintenance and hopefully get it spot on this time.
 
Day 4
B - Maintenance Bar

D - Chicken and salad sandwich

T - Baked potato, lighter choice ham and salad

Snack - Maintenance Whip

Feel very full now and definitely do now want and will not have anything else. This is the first day I have had what I am supposed to. I do still feel very full though, which I am so happy about. I think I've got my full button back!! After all these years I finally feel full!

Really enjoying refeeding at the moment and feel totally in control of my food intake. First time in a long time, long may it last!
 
Bev, well done on reaching your goal and beginning refeed. Keep up the water intake. Personally, it is a TFR habit that I have maintained and find it so worthwhile.
On refeed, I eat very slowly and was happy to leave food on my plate. Finally got rid of the clear your plate mentality!!!
Watch portion sizes as well as it is easy for these to creep up.

Well done on reaching goal and starting refeed. Do refeed for aslong as you feel you need too. There is no rush is there :)

Glad you are doing well so far and are feeling full and not wanting to snack :D xxx

Day 5

Really enjoyed my tea this evening, very tasty and filling. I have to think after a while, am I still hungry? and the answer is always no. So nothing more to eat if I'm not hungry, that's the way forward I think.

I haven't been able to get online much lately cos the internet is down at work until next week, gutted! Really miss coming on here during my lunchtime. That's when I'm on here most really.

I was going to say - don't force yourself to eat everything. If you're getting overfull it could be too much for you .. but you've already thought of it. Don't not eat it if you DO need it though. That certainly wouldn't do you any favours. You seem to be feeling differently this time though which is good.
I'm glad you're enoying everything - it's great to get those tastes again isn't it?

Keep up the good work :)

OH and 5 stones in 17weeks!!! Incredible!!! :D xxx

Was quite hungry yesterday and needed the whip early evening so had it. Really enjoy those too.

Day 7

Woke up with a very upset stomach this morning and it was feeling bad all morning. Really wasn't hungry at all today that's why I haven't really had much. Not hungry either. Think my stomach just isn't used to all this food again, that's why it was upset. Can't think what else it could be unless I had a bug or something.

Weighing in tomorrow, which I'm dreading cos I feel so much heavier today. Wont mind if I put a pound or two on this first week, I think it will all even out after a few weeks this time.

I really don't think about food the same as I did before. I thought I would really want to eat the rubbish I used to but have no interest in it at all. Before even if I had an upset stomach I would have eaten something nice. This time I am being so sensible! Not like me at all. My stomach feels a little better now so hopefully it will be back to normal tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
 
Ah hope your belly gets better quick sharp! :)

Your menus have been fab bev so hopefully you will show a sts or another loss tomorrow :) xxx

After a week of refeed I put on 1lb. Not too bothered about that really. I think I did the same last time.

My stomach is still all over the place and just wont settle. Anyone else had this whilst on refeed? It's also totm at the mo so wondering if it could be that.

Day 11

T - Rice and veg and small chicken breast.

I'm enjoying refeed, just think it would be so much better if my stomach would settle!!

Not bad at all Bev - and it can't be fat!

I didn't have the strange stomach thing but I know some people do. I suppose it stands to reason after so long not eating ... I'm sure it'll soon settle down.

Thanks for that Jan. My stomach is finally starting to settle I think. I think it could be to do with my totm afterall. I've never had it this bad before though, really upset for over 4 days. Glad it's settling down finally though.

Happy with the refeeding and noticed some of my attitudes to eating have changed too. After having a couple of nice fruit and nut biccies today (healthy ones), I thought I would get some more at Tescos. Got there and thought "don't buy them cos you will only eat them cos they're there and not cos you're hungry". Well done me. I like winning these little battles. Didn't take part at the gym tonight cos not feeling too good. Usually when I sit down and have a coffee waiting for hubby upstairs I would get a bar of choccie from the machine. Thought about it on the way there, but did not want one when I got there. The war may not be won but I think I have won a few of the smaller battles! Thankfully!!
 
Hi Bev, glad your feeling better. Glad to see you resisting junk like chocolate, do you think you have a new taste for healthy food now like the chicken salad and rices like lipotrim promised would happen?
Still a stone for me to lose, hopefully won't be too long. :) x

Thanks Size10bikini. I think I always liked healthy foods but the bad ones would always win! I'm not having choc and the like but it's not to say I don't want to. I'm just not having it. I will, I know I will but it's all about moderation and not going mad with me. If I can control that (and at the moment I am), I'm hoping I will be OK.
 
Hey Bev :) 1lb isnt bad at all and it certainly wont be fat. But glad you are ok with it. Like the others, the little battles make the biggest difference :) xxx

Another good day yesterday and felt in control again. This is a big thing with me. Even though I went in a shop and bought hubby a big bag of wotsits I didn't get myself anything. I just thought I don't want or need anything for later so why buy it! These are the little things that I need to beat or I will slip back into bad ways.

At last my badminton club restarts tonight and I can't wait. I've been away from it for almost 11 weeks and have really missed it. I'm hoping to be able to move around a bit quicker than last time I played because of the bulk I was carrying around.
 
You are doing great Bev. Do you feel hungry before meals and satisfied after. Do you go to bed hungry? TBH the meals you are eating would be great for any dieter. Keep posting on these boards girls as its helping me plan and learn about maintenance. So far I have learned that the little battles win the war and its about keeping up the effort. Loving that description. xx
 
Thanks Size10bikini. To answer your questions, I am usually a little hungry before meals and always full after!! I have never gone to bed hungry so far, still full up from my tea!
