How are you guys getting on with the diet, last time I was on it, I almost had to come off it due to toilet issues, until I discovered fibresure. That allowed me to stay on the diet until I felt ready to come off it.

However, I went to stock up on this today only to find that this product has been discontinued! Not only that, but the only products on the shelf were fybogel (not suitable) and FIBE (which I dont think is suitable). Anyone know what happened that a whole spectrum of fibre products have disappeared off the shelves?

Have you been using the cambridge fibre supplement and if so how has it worked out for you? I was not inclinded to get it as I happy with the fibresure capsules from last time, and didnt fancy mixing up a fibre drink (cant add it to packs as I do tetras only)

I'm not panicking. I would rather stay on CD but if I get the same issues as last time I will have to change direction and already have high protein as a backup plan.

I have psyllium husk capsules, I get them from holland and barrett, don't know if they have that in ireland??
I think psyllium husk is what is the fibre in fybogel??

I think the shell is made out of gelatine but I don't think its affected me too much, I am only on day 5 but I am in ketosis and have had them everyday.
Think you can get the powder too to add to drinks but i'm not keen on that. I'd rather just swallow a couple of tablets with water. You have to make sure you drink plenty of water with them, but its all on the label.
I am not saying these are right for you but they work for me!
Hope you find something that suits you

Thank you both,

fibresure were 100% psyllium husk in a capsule, I was told I cant have fybogel because of the orange in it also they are ispaghula husk and I dont know if thats allowed.

I will have a look in holland and barrett tomorrow, to see if I can get them there

Thanks again

hi i started 2 weeks ago and i took the cambridge fibre but found that i didnt go to the loo for 6 days. i dont know if this is normal but it didnt feel normal to me. i usually go everyday like clockwork and i know that although toilet trips would be reduced on CD i didnt think it would be by this much. think i will go to holland and barret myself for some of that stuff 2moro,

Emz xx

oh 6 days does not sound right to me either, I went at least every second day even when not taking the fibre, it was just not a good experience.

Just a quick update, I got my psyllium husks today in H&B thanks for the advice, its a weight off my mind now :)
