Newbie and lovinng it

Hey all,

Just want to say I have started slimming world last fri after hearing so many success stories in work, now I am an addict!!!! I can believe how easy it is and how full up I am. As I said I have only started on Fri and since then I have lost 1pound ( I couldnt resist a wee sneaky hop on the scales today) btw I am following ee and with not joining any sw clubs as such, I am loving all your stories and advice!!
 
Firstly well done on joining and loving it, it is easy but for your own sanity do not get on your own scales through the week it can be a massive sabotage if you think you're doing well alot of people tend to relax a little or your own scales will tell you you've lost one thing and you'll get on the weigh in scales and they'll say something totally different! Plus your weight fluctuates daily anyway. Most if not all consultants will advise you to throw away scales, you should only weigh once a week on group scales.
Sorry don't mean to rant and ultimately upto you but we ended up in a 30min discussion in group over this yesterday as this had happened to someone and you hear of it so frequently.

Hello.

I have been back on plan for 6 weeks (6th weigh in on Tuesday evening) - I don't know what it is this time around - but I am finding it easy too - although I lost weight in the past I didn't lose weight as quickly as I am this time - if you know what I mean.

Try not to keep hopping on and off scales though - (I do it) (everyone does it) but it's bad practice. My DD does it too - and weighs (herself) on a Friday morning as she's been calorie counting since february and has lost over two stones - but in the week she'll say 'yah, I lost another pound' and on Friday she'll say 'I stayed the same' - our bodies fluctuate so much throughout the week.

BUT massive GOOD LUCK for your first week, hope it's a great loss and keep at it - you sound really positive.
