How do i do slimming world?

Hey girls. Been checking your stories your all doing so well. Was wondering if i could have abit of help, Sounds stupid but it really confuses me. Like this day is green blah blah. In simpler terms please girls. I maybe slight blonde on this one. lol.x

ETA: the syns thing too how does this work? x
 
Ok,Hello! Firstly, have you joined a group, are you planning to do this from home without group support or are you doing it online? Do you have any of the literature about Slimming World?
 
Yes. Once you have read that thread it will give you some idea but it is REALLY useful to pop along and join a group, even if you only go for a week to get the literature.

You can find out some of the syn values from the forum here but we arent allowed to post lists or anything, so being a member of a group for a week will also give you access to the online website for that week and allow you to find out some of the syn values of your favourite items.
 
Unless you are a group member you wont be able to access a large portion of the online resources. There is a syn value finding tool, and another one that will calculate the syns based on the nutritional information of the item, if it isnt listed in the manufacturers lists or basic food lists.

Long term, you do need to have some access to syn value information. We can provide some, but the book you get when you join up also has a big list of products and their syn values which will be useful for you to have at hand.

Read through that link that you have been given and if you have any questions after that, just shout out!
 
Yes i got onto the members only by using a password. It all confuses me. Like what can you eat etc i dont understand it. Im being incredibly blonde obviously. x
 
You are still not really asking a specific question. First of all you have to know which plan you are following SW has three extra easy, green or original.

If your new to slimming world and not a vegetarian they nwo suggest you start with extra easy.

Then it is as simple as 1 2 3

1) eat UNLIMITED FREE AND SUPERFREE FOODS
these will be listed in the book

2)Choose one healthy a and one healthy b each day

3) Choose 5 to 15 syns each day

If you really do not understnad it from the book I recommend going to a class as there is too much to explain on here
 
Just out of interest, are you actually planning to do SW or are you weighing up your options, I see you have posted that you plan to start celebrity slim this week?
 
Was weighing up my options its between celebrity slim and slimming world as i have 4stone to loose. Just i had friends telling me yesterday to do slimming world and i asked them to explain they did but confused me more so in the end they told me to come on here n ask as i might get more info..
 
I'd say to really weigh up your options why not try and make it to a SW class next week ? That way you can get your books, speak to the consultant and really get a feel for what SW can offer you. If you're not keen on going to a class each week (which would be great for support) at least you'll have got the books and be armed and ready to really do it :) Whats celebrity slim about ? I bet SW would be a better long term plan !
 
Celebrity Slim is the same sort of thing as Slim Fast, two shakes and a proper meal. Its operated by a chain of chemists, some of whom offer a WI service and others that dont. Having had a read of the thread on the subject *down thar* it seems to be incredibly expensive. £2 something for one snack bar!

And I thought Fibre Plus were expensive!!! :8855:
 
That's why it's called 'celebrity slim' - only the rich can afford it!
