Good luck with your weight loss

Welcome Sharon! Kirstin already beat me to it but SW really isnt a diet and once you get into it you will soon realise the same! Its a change of lifestyle and life! Enjoy babes, keep up updated on your progress x

Hi and welcome.
It seems a really confusuing 'diet' to start with, but once you get the hang of it its easy. I think try not to look at it as a 'diet' in the traditional sense, as its not. you'll never be hungry, can eat lots of yummy food and STILL lose weight.
My top tip........... be organised and plan your meals, weekly if poss, (and pin it up in the kitchen, you can write on it then any thing you have as you get it, so you dont forget what you have had later.) then it is much easier to stay on track

God luck

yep, I agree no diet just a change in lifestyle.

I managed to loose my weight within 6 months but 2 months later am still eating the same way as it really is a lifestyle change.

Good luck :)

Hi,

I started it 6 weeks ago as my 'this is it' life style change and it's so easy to cope with. It's not super speedy but you can eat like a normal person and it's so simple to follow. I've lost a stone so far with no trauma at all.

Not sure how you get your loss stickers on here though, if anyone has the time to talk me through it (bearing in mind it's taken me 2 hours to sort out registration and ticker!!) I'd be very grateful!

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your weight loss journey. keep us posted :D

Hi Shazboo

Don't event think of it as a diet -it's just healthy eating! My only regret is.....I didn't discover SW years ago! You will soon get use to it. The weight loss can be slow for some (including me), but I think it's better that way and easier to keep the weight off. I guarantee you will never feel hungry. And use this forum - the support here is fantastic and you will never be short of new receipes and ideas from everyone. Good Luck!

thanks to everyones kind words, i agree it has to be a change of lifestyle and not a diet, so have decided that the family are changing too!
it will help my hubby lose a few pounds and lower his cholesterol and benefit my 2 teenage daughters in making good choices for life....

having the whole family eat the same way makes life in the kitchen so much easier to handle :)
