Worried about loose skin :(

Hiya, well done so far.

If i'm totally honest i'm pooping myself about it too i'm on day 5. I've also had 3 children and been a bit up and down on other diets (i've never tried anything like lipotrim before) so have a few stretchmarks too which i'm worried will get worse.

But at the same time i just keep thinking which do i think is worse being the size i am and unhappy or the size i want to be with the possibility that i may have some stretch marks and a bit of loose skin which stops me getting upset or worried about it.

I've started using skin firming lotions all over and doing toning exercises which im hoping will help! Bio oil is good but can be expensive but i've been using pretty much any firming lotion i can get with it.

I hope that it all turns out well though, good luck.

im on day 12 and ive noticed my body taking shape but im going for long powerwalks and doing pilates to form up! my best advice is to find some form of exercise that you like that way you'll tone as you go!

Excersise tones up the muscles under the skin but I don't think there is much you can do about excess loose skin. After my pregnancy it took 2 years to get my skin back in order so I think if you are still relatively young you should go back to normal over time. Otherwise it must be girdle or in the last event surgery.

A guy at work has this problem round his midriff and he wears girdles. The doctor said if he had surgery he would only have a 50 50 chance of survival. Don't know how much of that is true and how much the doc is trying to save his budget tho!

my god thats scary!

Ooo sorry not the desired effect of the post to scare you. You have to remember that this guy had other health problems as well....

whats everyones experiances with loose skin after weight loss. im mainly worried about my mid section

I think everyone panics about it but every situation is different. Different people have differing amounts to lose, differing ages, have been overweight for differing times etc.

In short, I'm not really sure, I'll soon find out though. I managed an impressive 5 press-ups last night. I might push for 6 later.

*Kisses guns*

I had asked my Doctor about the 'what if i have excessive loose skin'. My Dr just told me that once I've lost my weight and have maintained the weight-loss he said I should go back to him and he will take care of it.

As for my Motherhood stretch marks I am really proud of them as I feel rather lucky to of had a Daughter (which Docs weren't to sure that I'd be able carry full term) and a beautiful Son

But as for my bazooka's I have in a round-a-bout way asked my B/f if he could give me as a gift a boob job, to which he said 'to make them bigger I have no prob in that'. I told him that i'd was a boob lift and not to have them blown up as they are big enough now. Tut..tut ha MEN

Try speaking to your Doctor about it and see what they say

I exercise roughly two hours every night five times a week but I'm absolutely terrified about loose skin. My pharmacist told me that lipotrim contains extra vitamins and nutrients to help with skin elasticity and he has had people who have lost 8 and 9 stone and aren't plagued with lose skin. Only time will tell what the score is.
