Weight Watchers and Low Carb?

Hello everyone :)

As some of you know i've been doing Weight Watchers for a while now, and the last three weeks I have been sticking it to 98% (i'm not going to lie lol) but not losing. I have STS for 4 weeks now

I had a think about what I was eating though - a bagel for breakfast, a pasta meal at lunch and pasta with potato wedges for tea and so on. How many carbs! lol.

I've never been a big carbs eater but it's the easiest, filling thing on WW. I tried Atkins before and it worked well (but expensive) so i've cut down on my carbs, not cut them out, but no bread or pasta.

Do you think this is ok to do on WW? I know they say we can eat what we like, but is there a reason why I shouldn't cut them out?

I do have carbs but not as many as i used to. It wont hurt, just make sure you eat all your points :)

Trial and Error!!

im no expert but i dont see y u cant cut down, i wouldnt cut them out totally, but if u cut down for a week and see if it helps

I cut down on my carbs last week while doing WW (lost 5lbs). I have fruit - pears, nectarines etc...and then for dinner I have normally a baked potato / carrots. I don't eat bread and feel better for it. I do break out now and again and have 1 or 2 packs of crisps but I will always point them.

Last week I had a baked potato 3 times during the week with carrots and steak. Another day I made my own egg fried rice with UB's Basmati and had that with chicken. Then we had a stir-fry with S&S Sauce. So I suppose it sounds like a lot of carbs but it isn't. Think that I have lost the plot now. Try to only have carbs with dinner.

Well, it's working! Weighed myself this morning and it says I have lost 2lb (naughty scale hopper that I am)

It's working out ok for me too, lots of salad and omlettes and stir fry. All food I like :)

Yay!!! :D

carbs are all good in moderation. I find it bloats me and i retain water!

Brilliant - I am delighted for you. One thing that I didn't do last week (miracle or what) was weigh myself. I am normally a scales addict but managed to stay away. So am planning on doing the same myself. Low carb is good but we all need carbs to survive - but not as much as we think. Yay!!! Keep up the good work. :)

I was relying so much on them to feel full, and because they were easy, but i've found now I have less and i'm having more lean meats, i'm fuller! :D

I'm also totally addicted to carrot sticks and philidelpia light with chives. I've been munching on them for days! hehe.
