Newbie- lunch for original & greens days??

Hi

I've just joined and got my pack yesterday. I work in an office so need a 'packed' lunch to take to work. We have no use if a microwave either.

Could anyone give me ideas for lunch on both original and green days?

We have no microwave, no kettle no fridge, nothing. We have a cafe, & the caterers refuse to let us have those things, cos it takes their business away if we can prepare hot foods on site. So I take cold cooked pasta n sauces. Yummy cold! I also cook loads of roasted veg (peppers onions, mushrooms, carrots courgettes etc etc), & keep a bag of it in the freezer. Add a handful & stir them into the pasta for a change. Ditto Supernoodles. You can let those soak in hot water for a few mins, they're so thin, they soon soften up. (We can at least access hot water from the drinks machine so I use that!) Take a tub of roasted veg with you. I have a hot food flask too, & microwave jacket potatoes, then skin them (I know you're supposed to eat the skin too, but soft skin, yerghh! So I keep the skins then crisp up in the oven for later...I'm having the fibre, just not at the same time!) then take in the food flask with some VLF cottage cheese, & salad. Keeps piping hot til lunchtime. Veg soups? HexB sandwiches? Hot spaghetti in tom sauce, or baked beans? On EE, tuna on potatoes?
I've tried taking hot pasta but it just goes mushy. Hope this gives you some ideas x

I try and take a pack lunch every day. We have a microwave, fridge and kettle in the office but I'm rarely office based (I'm a youth worker) or rarely have time to use them!

I do green days only and I tend to make up a salad and then add either leftover rice/pasta/potatoes to bulk it out. I also take 1-2 hard boiled eggs with me. I make these the night before or put them on whilst I'm in the shower in the morning. I do chop them up into quarters and store in tupperware so they are very portable which helps me. When I can't be @rsed to make a salad I just chop some cticks of cuc/celery/peppers and take those. Houmous is good too (HEB).
