An unusual use for marrow?!

I was feeling a little disappointed this week after losing 1lb (I stuck to plan religiously and hoped it would be more) when my boyfriend presented me with a rather unusual gift.....a huge marrow!
He had weighed it and it weighed 5.5lbs which is exactly what I've lost in 2 weeks. It was quite heavy and I felt pretty amazed and remotivated.

Left me thinking has anyone else got a strange tip for motivation?

Was hoping this was a recipe idea for marrow......lol. have a large marrow that i need to use up.

I can think of an unusual use for marrow but you need to have had at least 20 children before its possible.

Seriously though, well done on the splendid weight loss and what a nice boyfriend you have to give you vegetable based motivational gifts!

Haha that made me laugh no children here I'm afraid no wonder you're called madame la minx with a mind like that

You're all making him get a big head he is very proud of the home grown marrow!

I may post future losses in marrows rather than pounds..........

i told my bf about ur bf and when shopping in asda he handed me 16 packets of lard, i put them in trolley thinking they were for fishing ( dont ask) and he asked if they were heavy i said "yeah, im glad i dont go with u , u would make me carry them" he laughed and pointed to trolley and said here is ur fat u lost. i was soooo shocked
