Been on this CD for a couple of weeks now and my water intake is really slowing down, think Im loosing motivation!
Can I ask, is it true that the more you drink the more you shrink? Honestly..... not just what we're told but have any of you answered this from personal experience?
I really need some motivation to drink the stuff! Started at 5-6ltr now lucky if I get 3! :sigh:

I truely believe the key to me losing weight so quickly was the fact I drank loads of water every day on the diet. I think it not only helps you lose weight but it also helps you stick to the diet as you are so obsessed with drinking the bloody stuff that you forget you aren't eating food along the way....

I've only been doing SS for 3 weeks and a couple of days but I definitely find water helps. My CDC says that water is the key to weightloss and takes all hunger pains away etc etc.
Like you though, I'm finding it REALLY hard to in-take water, the worst time is at work because I find I'm in the loo more than I'm at my desk. Guess it just takes some adjusting too though (I hope..)

Keep at it though! It'll all be worth it in the end :) :)

Thanks
I just want to maximise weight loss..... as we all do!
So if you guys said drinking 6-7lts as oppose to 3-4lts then I'd do it!

oh yes, drink drink drink, it fills your tummy, keeps your mouth busy and flushes all those fat cells right out of your body. I break it down into small chunks of water through the day and it is much easier that way. glug it down.

I use 500ml bottles - refill from tap or water cooler at work! It makes it easier to drink somehow - and easier to keep track! I def think it stops you feeling hungry - and its great for your skin!

I myself manage about 3-4 liters plus what I use to mix my milkshakes, but then I am a shorty at 5' 4".

I remember some time back that a few people experimented with water consumption intake and weight loss and I think if I remember correctly that the overall consensus was that after 6 litres of water that the weight loss difference was negligible.

The minimum water intake is 4 pints a day plus what you use to mix your milkshakes as we must deliberately drink water in order to replace the water we would normally get from our eating food.

I find over the course of time you can work up to it, but it is very difficult in the first few days when your not use to drinking so much fluid and the good news is your body does adapt and you don't have to run to the loo quite as often.

Mind you all the trips to the loo is good exercise.:)

Me toooo! It makes it go down much better from those water thingies at work, much nicer and so cool too..yum!

Hi Faith,

I always stuck to 3lt. I did try 5lt for a week and felt bloated and miserable and had my worst weight loss ever (1/2lb).

I think it is an individual thing when it comes to "The more you drink the more you shrink". If more water works for you then great.

If you feel your weight loss has slowed because of your water intake has been reduced then I think you know the answer.

Some of my customer only manage the minimum and they have great weight losses each week.
