How do you make yours - tips!

Hi,

As I am new to the board and to VLCD in general I was hoping that we could put together some tips that people have for making the shakes, soups etc. I have read a few in other posts but it would be nice to have them in one place.

E.g. peppermint teabag in water before making the hot chocolate shake.

Look forward to hearing some...
 
It went pretty quiet as people started holidays lol. Was just saying to my OH that hardly any of those who were here when I started in May are still active. To be expected I suppose but everyone is still so supportive :)
 
I whisk the soup over a pan on the stove....Tasted alright...except I hate the soups. I've come back again - I switched to Atkins for a bit lost 4lbs and then found it very easy to cheat from then on. Plus I'm really bored of losing weight slowly so I need to something drastic again - I have a winter coat I need to get in to otherwise I shall be freezing my bum off all winter haha. I'm using up my weeks supply of LT from earlier in the year and then have two weeks supply of Exante before ordering a new lot. I decided to do this again now theyre doing shakes on their own rather than the soups aswell. I cant force myself to drink the soup I'm afraid I cant even eat it with a spoon :p Blergh. I will have to buy the bars on top as a treat or something.

Blender is the best for shakes I find..but they do make it a bit frothy which I dont like miles better than the shaker though! xx
 
i dont eat the bars anymore or the soups but i do loads of different things with the shakes. I dont like the vanilla one as a shake but love it with a spoon of coffee in for a latte kind of effect or its also good as ice cream. I make the strawberry one into ice lollies (kind of like mini milks), the chocolate one i like hot or cold and the banana one is good on its own or again as ice cream or ice lollies. Mixes things up a bit xx
