Good morning, Good morning...

Grappling with life
Hope you are all well and raring to go today?

I am in a good mood it would seem! I didn't win the lottery last night, not even one number.

I have another job application to post off this morning, hoping to hear back from this one at some point. Had to fill it out with handwriting and I always find they don't give me enough space in the little box to write what I want to and although I hate doing it I did attach an additional sheet this time - I felt what I had to say was applicable, hope that doesn't go against me??

Anyway, hope you all have good plans for the day. I will be dragging my reluctant tweenager into town so he can buy Birthday cards today. And Imight just saunter past the clinique counter..... ok I admit it its bonus time and i'm a sucker for bonus time at Clinique!

xx

Morning morning - enjoy bonus time at Clinique. I am putting off buying anything till we go to America in October. I love getting the little freebies and the fab little bags they give you. Hoping to get some Estee Lauder freebies too - want to buy some Sensous (spelling) perfume. :p
Good to hear that you are in a positive mood this morning - I amn't. :( Was in for my treatment yesterday and the doc told me that I am going to find it hard to lose the weight on the chemo and steroids. I am starting to get that bloated chemo look now - wrecking my head. But I know that this is more important to me than diets so I will just go along with it. And if I manage to lose the weight then I will - sure once I finish the treatment hopefully it will move in the right direction.
How can you have a tweenage son - you certainly don't look old enough.

Aww shucks! Trust me I have a tweenage son! He acts like he is 19 most of the time but he's not quite 11 yet, very mature and grown up for his age though!

Get your treatment sorted first and foremost, the weightloss can some later. Far more important to be well! I recently had a friend go through Chemo so I know its not at all pleasant.

I love Sensuous by Estee Lauder, its one of those perfumes that you can smell all day. I have Youth Dew and I think when thats all gone I may indulge in some Sensuous. In fact all Estee Lauder perfumes scent linger all day and I always get compliments when wearing them. Those and the Britney Spears ones, but my absolute fave is Thierry Mugler Angel. Mmmm Lovely.

Is Clinique and such much cheaper in USA then? I used to have a friend who worked on the Estee Lauder counter in house of fraser and she could get 60% off clinique and such but she no longer works there - poop! Used to get all the little freebies and gifts free! She got me hooked and now i have to pay full price, no fair.

Enjoy your day x

lady vegas we are going to usa in oct too,,disney here we come!!!

Yummy Mummy - that's great. You'll have a brill time. We went there last year on our honeymoon. We are heading to Vegas for 2 weeks and are planning on driving up to Anaheim in California for 2 days to go to Disneyland there. Can't wait. Big Kids we are....:p Hoping to be down a stone by the time we are going....:fingerscrossed: Hope I ain't :deadhorse:

Pink Fluff - hope you enjoyed your shopping. Yeah I think that it might be slightly cheaper. I know that defo the Sensuous is way cheaper. I wore it for my wedding and got it in Macys the day of the wedding - I got the shower cream, body lotion and 100ml parfum for $100. Great bargain - I am wearing their Bronze Goddess perfume now. It's fab too. :)
