Please help me !!

Hey all,
Iv spoken to my drs today after losing 2 stone in three weeks, which im obv thrilled about, but he is a little concerned its to quick. So therefore he has advised me to stop, refeed for 1 week and then restart again. Which I dont mind doing, but im completley stuck on how to do the refeed, and a little scared!!.
Iv done a provisional diet plan for the next 7 days, starting this friday.
If there's anything wrong, please can u tell me !! Cheers Tracey
Friday (Day 1)
Breakfast LT Shake
Lunch LT Shake
Dinner 4-6oz chicken, Lettuce, Tomatoes,Cucumber, Red onions, Peppers, dressed with balsamic vinegar.
Saturday (Day 2)
Breakfast LT Shake
Lunch 4-6oz Chicken, Lettuce, Tomatoes,Cucumber, Red onions, Peppers dressed with balsamic vinegar.
Dinner 2 x Hard Boiled eggs, Lettuce,Tomatoes, Cucumber, Red onions, Peppers dressed with balsamic vinegar.
Sunday (Day 3)
Breakfast LT Shake
Lunch 1 x Hard Boiled egg & Ham, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Cucumber, Red onions, Peppers dressed with balsamic vinegar.
Dinner 4-6oz Chicken, 2 tbsp mixed veg, 8oz mashed potato, with skimmed milk and pepper.
Monday (Day 4)
Breakfast LT Shake
Lunch 2 x slices of wholmeal bread, vlf mayo, 1 tin of tuna, 1 tbsp sweetcorn.
Dinner Egg Mayo (2 x eggs VLF mayo) 8oz Jacket potato, Side salad with Lettuce, Tomatoes, Cucumber, Red onions, Peppers dressed with balsamic vinegar.
Apple and Pear with VLF yogurt.
Tuesday (Day 5)
Breakfast LT Shake
Lunch Wholemeal Pitta with Lettuce, Tomatoes ,Cucumber, Red onions, Peppers dressed with balsamic vinegar, and VLF Cottage cheese.
Dinner 4-6oz Chicken, 2 tbsp mixed veg, 8oz mashed potato, with skimmed milk and pepper.
Apple & Pear with VLF Yogurt
Wednesday (Day 6)
Breakfast LT Shake
Lunch Ham salad with Lettuce, Tomatoes ,Cucumber, Red onions, Peppers dressed with balsamic vinegar
Dinner Cod Fillet, Asparagus spears, 6 x new potatoes.
Apple & Pear with VLF Yogurt
Thursday (Day 7)
Breakfast LT Shake
Lunch VLF Soft Cheese, with Prawns in a wholmeal tortilla wrap.
Dinner Spag bol, (Lean mince, mushrooms, onions, LF Sauce) 4oz cooked spagetti.
Apple & Pear with VLF Yogurt.
 
Firstly, your menu looks spot on :)

Secondly, and this might throw a spanner in the works; i'm not sure why you're doctor has told you this. Do you have any medical conditions? If so then i can understand it but otherwise a weight loss like yours is ok considering you are undertaking a VLCD.
 
Trace, I think you've been given the wrong advice too - unless you have some medical reason not to lose weight it seems counter-intuitive to reverse your ketosis at this stage.

Your weight loss will inevitably slow down in the next couple of weeks. Maybe speak to your doctor again, compromise on one more week and see how that goes?

PS most of us would give our eye teeth for that loss!
 
I agree with Tanya Jane and Waterworks, but will say that i'm on refeed (since tues this wk) because I'm going away and found the the minimum advised amount too much to stomach. I rung Lipotrim/ Howard Grp and was told that seeing i will be returning to tfr I can have 2 maintenace (1 of which i should a tiny bit to eat off the list) and one meal. I had told them that i found it a bit too much to eat and just said as long as you have some of it no matter how little that would be fine.

Give them a call as they are absolutely wonderful, great advisors and listeners seeing that your Dr thinks you've lost abit too much and tell them of this. As you never know they may end up contacting your Dr's surgery to have a chat with them.

wk1 = -6lbs
wk2 = -5lbs
tues start of refeed and went in on thurs' for cheeky weigh -6lbs:D
