Today me and my boyfriend got engaged. It's given me a new motivation to get rid of this weight for I refuse to get married until I'm in a nice figure hugging wedding dress.

Also, I have another goal. I really want to take my son swimming at some point so I bought myself a swimming costume set which is bikini bottoms and a top, not a bra-like bikini top but the actual top.

So I'm happy, I'm engaged to be married and I have a goal to work towards. YAY!!!

Oh Abbie thats absolutely brilliant news. Congratulations to both of you.

Wow what motivation you have now eh!!! You can forget about that bikini you bought because very soon you will be buying it in a smaller size!!!

Thanks everyone!

It's been quite a year and I'm happy. I do sound sometimes like I should be on Grumpy Young Women, but for the most part, I realize how good my life actually is and couldn't want for anything more.

Just need to get to goal weight and then that's me completely happy.

Your little man is just gorgeous. I have a baby boy too, who is about 3 months older than yours. Best thing ever.

I'm an idiot. My baby was born in 2009, not 2010, and so is much older than yours and is also not so much of a baby any more.
