Week 5 weigh in - why still such a low loss??

Hi there, I'm feeling very low, as my weight loss seems to be so low. I've had my 5th weigh in on Friday and lost only 1.1kg (2.43 lbs). Previous couple of weeks weren't much better either. I'm doing everything to the dot, am following all the rules, haven't even as much as sniffed the food, and have walked 4 days last week between 3000-8500 steps on those days.

I just don't get it as no matter how I look at this I just don't see how I can physically be loosing only this little weight. I won't give up the diet until I loose all the weight but am getting really concerned as to what will happen when I start eating again. How is it possible that I can virtually survive on negative calories intake???

I just can't seem to figure this out and am feeling pretty miserable about everything. I thought I was really gonna have a good steady weight loss of at least 2.5-3kg per week and looked forward to completing this diet so much, and now it seems I'll be on it forever and when I finish it I'll have to live on air and water......:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

Its not a slow weight loss honey, its about average for LT, you have lost almost a stone and a half in 5 weeks, and at the "normal" rate of a stone a month, that is well within the norm. I had a brill weight loss first week and a rubbish one the second, but it will all even out to approximately a stone a month. These first few weeks its just your body adjusting to the new regime, and sometimes it can be a bit stubborn, just hang on in there honey x

Hi Neem
Have you spoken to your Dr or Pharmacist about this and are you drinking enough water?

wow 2.5-3kg a week is far to high of a goal to set. You just set yourself up for a fall!!!!!!!

Average weight loss for a woman is 1st a month.

2.43lbs loss this week is nothing to be sniffed at. Thats the equilivant to almost 20 sausages!!! Go and pick up 20sausages and see how heavy it is and think you have just lost that amount of weight in pure fat off your body.
