Xenical and slim fast.....

Is this a good idea or far from it?

Im considering a slimfast shake as when it comes to breakfast, i dont have time, i know i should but being a single mum of 3 and one is special needs, mornings are hetic.

Anyway, when it comes to 10ish im a nightmare for the munchies, so im thinking if i have a slimfast shake - the one which ya make up with skimmed milk with a pill, hopefully that should sort me out thru the 10 pang time and stop the munchies and help me thru til lunch.

Hugs to all :gen126:

This is my opinion, and mine only, there has to be at time when you say enough is enough and I am going to lose weight and KEEP it off. Now to me that means a complete change of eating, like today I went to my Sister's and she offered me a sandwich so I had chicken on white bread, not my favourite but that is what she had in, so I asked if I could have a relish on it instead of butter/marg, that was fine. She then asked me to stay for dinner but I not only wanted to get home but the lovely Lamb stew I had made for them would have made me ill. Not because of Xenical but because I have cut out fat so completely in my normal eating that it would have make me sick

I couldn't exist on a blue tablet and a shake loooooooooong term! And that is my point, you have to look at your weight loss long term and permanent. Can you live on a blue tablet and a shake for any length of time, I don't think so.

Look at changing your eating habits completely and use the blue tablets for what they are, a warning that you are not eating healthy. So take the tabs, chuck away the frier's/ frying pans/ n takeaways and go onto a healthy eating habit, and have fun, don't make losing weight a miserable experience

Having been a slimfaster and taking the blue pill I can tell you it does work. Try having the shake for breakfast and then a snack of 100 cals mid morning and see how you go. You may find your still hungry, but you can get through it with a large glass of squash. ( that's what I did) I've not had any problems at all with being on the tablets apart from I've not had the snack bars are not in the rules, and def not worth the go (the one time I've had a small amount of oil is when I had the caramel one.

They taste ok... im a pre made shake girl and like them. I dolike the powders too, but for ease I had the pre made ones.

If you have any questions ask away. I won't answer for a week as I'm on hols as of the end of this post... plane is boarding as I type....
Good luck.

I love Lidl's n Aldi's low fat yogurt, and I love there prices as well ;)

BTW you don't need a home yogurt system for making your own yummy ones just a thermos flask! http://www.minimins.com/recipes/163174-home-made-healthy-yogurt.html
