Hi everyone :wave_cry:

I went with my friend to see a CDC on Tuesday, she started on Wednesday.

The lady measured her to be 5'8" when infact she is just over 5'10". She was nice so we didn't want to correct her. Because of the CDC thinking she's 5'8" she said she had a choice as to have 3 packs a day or 4. Now she is having 3 a day because of personal reasons.

I'm getting a bit frustrated because I'm pretty sure this is unhealthy and finding it hard to get through and am concerned. My mum is 5'9" and having 4 packs a day and very happy to do so because she knows it is healthier for her heart as explained by our CDC.

Can someone confirm this for me as I don't want to be keeping on if I'm completely in the wrong.

:thankyou:

If doing SS a women 5f 8in and over should be having 4 packs a day. If your freind want to have 3 a day she should do 790, 3 packs plus the meal out lined in book she should have been given.

For her to have just 3 pack is extremely unhealthy for her. She will be missing out on essential kcals and nutrition that is needed for her height. I'm sure her body will start to tell her soon that she is doing something wrong.

Your friend would be mistaken if she is having 3 packs a day to speed up her weight loss, it is more likely to slow it down.

I would never give a woman of 5f 8in the option of 3 or 4 packs on SS.

I was told I had a choice. I'm 5'9. However reading this, I'm going to make darn sure I have my 4 per day!

I was virtually only having 2-3 packs per day a few weeks ago and I was exercising. My weight has stalled and I'm so annoyed with myself.

Hmmmm I'll not forget this thread in a hurry. Thanks for the information! :)

Hi,

I'm just under 5'10" and I have four packs a day. I was never given a choice. However, on the occasions where I've had 3 (stayed away from home and forgotten packs) I've felt rubbish the next day, really headachey and lethargic. I've lost over 4 stone in 3 1/2 months and am now on maintenance. This includes exercising and I know I have lost a lot of inches and increased muscle too.

Tell her to have the 4 a day, it does work, I am an example of that and feeling rubbish is really not worth it, as I don't think I could have lost weight much faster!!

Thanks all, if she doesn't listen I'll make her read this thread :)

She's going to get annoyed at me anyway because I never go on and on unless I know I'm right and somethings wrong (not very often at all...) so I tend to bring this up frequently lol.

:thankyou: :thankyou:

Have great weekends, be good!!

P.s. Just had a look over your losses, flipping brilliant. Keep it up...it keeps me going :p
