Really Desperate to get this weight off

I have come back on the ww forum If this is ok with you all I cant find another diet plan so im going to have another go at ww and going to do it properley this time by having all my points . As im wanting some weight of by end of october just wondering how many stones could I get off I would love to be in a size 16 which is not really a big size but 14 would be a feather in my cap. When you are overweight you cant get nice clothes to fit as I had this problem the other day and it really got me down and upset as there is some nice clothes about for summer which when fat there is no point looking at them only dull drap colours like blacks and browns

Really got to do something once and for all
 
aww hun i really feel for you, you sound so low about it all. there really isnt need for it though instead of feeling down, try and think of the positive side of things......the slower you lose the weight, the more likey it will stay off!! think of how healthy you will be if you stick to the diet and think of it as a change of lifestyle rather than a diet as thats when most of us fail if we think of the diet word :rolleyes:

p.s i hope that made sense, excuse if it didnt ive just woke up and head hasnt quite cleared yet :p

I understand what you are saying ive been on diets along time and put weight on and then lost it its like yoyoing . I did start on ww then for a reason lost the plot again . I dont want to be this size in october like i am now if i am theres no point bothering if im not going to lose weight . Yes its true just make a good start and stick to it and surely the results will come if just get on with it.

i agree, post us a typical days food so we can maybe see where you're going wrong and offer some advice.

This is one of my days
Bfast sachet oat so simple 2 points
glass pure orange juice 0.5
Milk 2 points for the day.

Lunch 1 pkt crisps at work 2.5

Tea quiche 5 points
potatoes 1
salad free
light coleslaw 0.5
light salad cream 0.5

Snacks
ww bar 1.5
rasps 0.5
meriungue nest 0.5
light cart d or ice cream 1 scoop 1.5

This comes to 18.5 out of 26points
 
Bethany, if i recall you say you were struggling to use all your points but when you had desssert you would have fruit and WW 0 point jelly, why not try ice cream, you dont really need the 0 point stuff until your struggling to stay in the range.

I cant see how you can struggle to use all your points ( just have higher calorie items ), you must be able to eat alot none of us got overweight by eating nothing, i dont mean to be rude but its a point.

I dont think you can ask people what you should eat and how many points for b/fast and dinner just have what you fancy and count the points.

Like b/fast mushorrom omlette is 3 points or if you need to use extra out it on a slice or 2 of wholegrain bread which is kind of 1 - 1.5 points per slice. I do feel for you because my mum is like you she goes on a diet and cant eat anything for fear of not losing then has no sucess so writes it off as disaster without listening to what people are telling her

I better watch out in future or i will be getting pulled up over it.

Youre not going to get pulled up but what WILL happen is people will stop replying to your threads/posts again.

Its completely disheartening to reply to posts and offer advice and help to have it completely disregarded all the time.

There are loads of people on here who DO want advice/help with their diets who do listen and take on board the advice offered.

People are happy to help you Bethany but sometimes its like going round in circles. If we offer answers and advice today are we going to be asked the very same questions again next week :sigh:

Mushroom omlette on 1 slice of toast - 4.5
orange juice -0.5
Milk for day - 2 points

Lunch 1 pkt crisps at work 2.5
Instead ham salad/ chicken salad sandwhich - 4 points
packet of crisps - 2.5


Tea quiche 5 points
potatoes 1
salad free
light coleslaw 0.5
light salad cream 0.5
keep the same but have 200g of potatoes


Snacks
ww bar 1.5
rasps 0.5
meriungue nest 0.5
light cart d or ice cream 1 scoop 1.5
Dont change the above

This comes to 18.5 out of 26points

This then comes out at 25.5

The trouble with me is that ive got a good appetite yes I have put weight on with eating alot every body who is over weight does this


And herein lies my point

If you have a good appetite how do you struggle to use your points ?
 
Well if thats the case starlight im better keeping of this forum once and for all dont we all make mistakes or is it just me

Noone on here is perfect but, and we've had this conversation before too, you're asking the same questions all the time Bethany. If you look back on all the threads youve started its the same things again and again and again.

The advice youve been given is great, its accurate, it works theres no more people can advise you.

Why not go back over some of your old threads and youll see ALL your questions have been answered.

We've all offered suggestions for you to increase your points, have spoken about average weight losses, stressed the importance of eating ALL your points etc etc

People DO want to help, but the main thing is you have to want to help yourself first and foremost.
 
But thats what i dont understand, why do you think you will go over them as long as you count and write down you will know where you are throught the day

split them then

AM - 5

lunch - 7

afternoon - 2

dinner - 8
dessert - 2

evening - 2

You can find things YOU like not what people tell you to eat, that are within the points value you have to use :)
