speed of weight loss

Hi everyone-as usual I am after advice!

I have lost about 4 stone on SS in the last 4 months or so, and last weigh in lost nothing (I had cheated a little because it was my birthday, but not that much!). I still have about 4 stone to go and was wondering if my weight loss will start to slow as I get nearer to goal, or if because of ketosis I'll carry on losing at the same rate?

Thanks

Difficult to say as we are all so different. My weight loss did slow down the near I got to goal but it was only for the last month. It picked up when I did a AAM and the 790. I went from 9st 10lb to 9st 4 1/2lb.

Hiya

I fopund that as I got nearer my goal (within 1 - 1.5 stone) that my losses slowed a little. however I got over that by drinking another litre of water per day and my losses went back up.

Water really is the key. I was upto 6-7 litres a day!

Have got to goal once and then a holiday to Florida recently meant I put back on about a stone and a half. Am working hard now to get it back off (which I would have never done before - that's how I got to the weight I was lol!!) but its very hard trying to get back on track.

Hope this helps

I have found this last stone really tricky to move - a bit of a plateau - but it's gone now and I know it'll be back to proper losses again now. It does slow down and my Dr has explained that the longer the fat has been stored then the more stubborn it can be. She also explained that now I am smaller I am taking so much more exercise that I am building muscle which weighs more than fat. so now I definitely measure myself and ensure I take note of my clothes sizes - I went down over a jeans size with only a 3lb loss!! don't worry, we'll all get there, it's just in our own bodies' time.

Hi Chantal,

Should add, the inches were still coming off even though weight loss slowed down.
