Okay lifesavers = a tad overdramatic but these literally do really help me when i have been a fool and havent made ANY plans at all for lunch;

Tesco Light Choices, Snack Pot, Sweet Chilli Prawns with Noodles, chilled 300g pot
* 1½ Syns

Marks & Spencer Count on Us, Creamy Prawn Pasta Salad 290g pack
* 4½ Syns

Marks & Spencer King Prawn & Noodle Salad 370g pack
* 3½ Syns

Marks & Spencer Carrot & Bulgar Wheat Salad in a Coriander Dressing, Less Than 5% Fat 210g pack
* 3½ Syns

Boots Shapers, Honey & Mustard Chicken Pasta Salad 252g pot
* 4½ Syns

(all on EE)

obviously preparing my own free (and much fresher) lunch is prefereable but im just not that good sometimes :p

hope these help a bit :)

Actually its helped me...... I'm going into Brighton tomorrow to do some shopping and had totally forgotten I cant grab a McD with the children - aghhhhh!!!

These are good thanks, as sometimes caught on the hop it can be awkward trying to work out whats free and low syn, and whats not. As I discovered to my 19 syn salad a couple of weeks back.

V useful, thank you! xx

does anyone know how many syns this is on red and green? i dont know what im doing today yet lol xx

i always,always make sure i have mugshots in the cupboard and those lil cous,cous pots(but i dont like these,these are for hubby)....in case we need something quick,or have to go out unexpectedly or can take or for hubbys case to take to work if no time to prepare something.

Thank you Cleashy, that is really helpful. Now I know which direction to head if I'm in town and feeling hungry! :D

I did a search and got the below. Not sure how its the same on green because of the prawns!?

1½ Syns on Extra Easy

Original 9½ Syns

Green 1½ Syns

The syn value was the very first thing on the OP!? lol And red/green must work out the same because of the prawns (not free on green) and noodles (not free on red) xx

oooo new find! - Marks & Spencer sweet chilli prawn wraps and mango salad wraps

only 30 calories for the whole six pieces and sooo yummy!

basically you get 6 sushi sized pieces
there are 3 with prawns veg and 3 with mango salad.

the trick is that they are not "wraps" in the sense you might think. they are actually wrapped in a thin slice of japanese raddish but this actually makes them really crunchy and fresh. you also get a teeny bit of lovely runny sweet chilli sauce to dip.

GUSTO AND GLEE: SNACK ATTACK: Marks and Spencer Salad Wraps

all this included for:
30 calories
2.4g protein
5.1g carbs &
0.2g fat

which makes them a measely 1.5 syns usuing the syn calculator (without selecting free food) however all of the ingredients are technically free food on EE apart from the sweet chilli sauce so the syns are possibly even less :D

dont get me wrong this isnt really enough for lunch and is more of a snack but is very good for mid morning munchies

anyone have any other low syn grab & go faves?

xxx

Might have to make a note of these. I was caught out by a not so healthy choice in M&S the other day when I didnt plan properly. What I thought would be light in Syns turned out to be 15.5 syns:eek:
