Love to cross-stitch!
am now working on a 5ft square cross-stitch of my family tree with individual little pics for each person!
As there are nearly 300 people on it Ithink it will keep me busy for a month or so!
And as i do it in the evening I daren't eat choc etc near it so after tea snacks have gone out the window!

it does keep your head out of the fridge doesn't it the avatar thingy in my details is one I did for hubby before we were married and now Im working on a "heaven and earth" design for my nieces xmas pressy -Have you seen the heaven and earth ones? soooo much detail...this is one:-
this one is on hold whilst I do my nieces -this one is about 4ft tall when its done
I did this for my mum
and these 2 hubby did
oooh Im getting all rambly and excited now -will stop boring you all now
... best get off and get some done

Wow Capricorn they're amazing. I used to cross stitch when I was a kid, and my mum used to love doing it... makes me wonder whether I should take it up again - keep my hands busy in the evenings...
I don't really have any hobbies that aren't food related - how boring am I!! I do love holiday planning so tend to throw myself into that quite enthusiastically whenever lucky enough to go away - whether home or abroad!!

Looks like you well and truely got the x-stitch bug like me!
I never think to photo them when finished, doh! And I never keep them, always give them away as pressies!
Presently I've got 21 on the go!
There's 1 of a tiger in the moonlight thats on black aida so I can only do it in very strong light.
I am really sad as I have already done my xmas cards, they're all enveloped up ready to send out!

Another serial Cross stitcher here!!
Im currently working a red flower fairy one for my daughters room. I have been doing them since I was 8 years old and I find it quite relaxing!! xx

I love embrodering cards, I'm making my christmas cards at the moment, which means I can't snack whilst doing them as I can't risk anything getting on them
I'm a holiday planner to, at the moment I'm planning next years holiday to India. I just love it, I have an itinerary done already & an excel spreadsheet with the costings on it.........whoops best stop now I'm starting to sound sad

My horses became so much more than a hobby, but have now returned to being just that.
Antiques are a passion, antique porcelain that is . I love finding something as a bargain price and discovering it's provenance. The history of some of the pieces is fascinating and sometimes it takes me so long on the computer and in books that that keeps me out of the fridge.
My other hobby and passion is cooking and inventing new dishes, fortunately all the most recent new dishes have been SW friendly.
