Struggling?

Is anyone else struggling a little at the moment??

I know I'm not doing as well as I could and sometimes have the 'ah well, who cares' attitude when I reach for the food I want...

Does anyone else need that little bit of extra motivation at the moment?

I've set myself a new task 10lbs in 10 weeks, nice and realistic :) I've been losing at a rate of 2lbs per week at the moment, so fingers crossed 10lbs in 10 weeks is very much within my reach! :)

Hey Lozzy,

I'm totally with you on this!

Recently I've been looking at chocolate bars and thinking "I just want a BREAK from this BLOODY calorie counting!", y'know? But I know the more I slip up, the more I'll have to STAY calorie counting. I just need to keep drilling that through my head.

The more I can stick to my plan, the sooner I'll hit my goal weight, and the sooner I don't have to be so strict with my food.

I think we all lose the dieting plot sometimes. I know I have could have lost much more weight this year, but chocolate always seemed much more inviting than counting calories.

I found going to my slimming club every week and getting weighed has been the key for me. I could have done better, but I do know that without the weekly weigh in I could have done a lot worse.

The last couple of months, I seem to have really my motivation back and have been sticking to it 100%.

I have just returned from a week's all inclusive and although I gained 4-5lb managed to lose it so at weigh in on Monday I was 1lb lighter than when I went :)

Slow and steady is perhaps the best way. I have only lost just over 1lb a week, when it is averaged out, but at least its moving in the right direction.

Good luck with your 10lb challenge.

Hi Lozzy,

I've only just started and Im already struggling. Cos Ive only lost one pound I keep thinking 'ah its just a fluke, i wont lose anymore' - and then I reach for the biscuits!

You just have to rememer its a vicious circle, and thats the reason we got the extra pounds in the first place.

Thats why this site is so great - Its so reassuring theres lots of people trying to shift the pounds at the same time.

Ive been on around 1200 cals for ages, and ive been maintaining my weight on that. So, i thought woop. Maybe i'll just give myself alittle bit of a break.

Bad plan. I gained 2lbs while on holiday.

So now, im on 800cals a day for 3 weeks to get back to where i was. And maybe lose abit more before my next holiday. :p
