Hello!

This year I have gone completely off the rails. I was doing well this time last year then I just lost it completely. Having got to the 4stone loss I just messed around all over Christmas with the constant plan to start again tomorrow:break_diet:
I then started Slimming World in the hope that a shake up in my eating plan would help me get focussed...Nope! I have put on 1stone since Christmas time:sigh: Which means I am now just under 7stone away from target.

This last week has been so awful. My lovely Nan passed away and my OH was taken to hospital yesterday (he's out again now). My OH appears to have kidney stones and I've put my foot down and told him that enough is enough.

Whilst he doesn't have as much to lose as me he carries his weight around his middle and is very unhealthy. I've told him we should take his kidney problems as a wake up call for both of our sakes!

Sorry this is so long:eek: I just wanted to write a post to use as my 'final restart'.
No more excuses, no more being lazy and no more restarts!!

I can do it, I just have to believe I can do it.

I was the same, I lost 35lbs within 4 months on ww last year...I was recommended slimming world by a friend but to be honest I lost 6lbs which I thought was great but I don't think I done the plan right because ive put the weight back on! I loved the green day but all the pasta etc didn't do much for my weight loss. I think for me personally maybe ww is a bit more suitable for me, I just hope im not too hungry. The last time I done ww I tended to be really hungry. Im only allowed 17 points a day and I like to save points for a treat at the weekend. I'll need to start exercising to get more points lol, good luck with your plan:)

milly57,

Just wanted to drop you a line to say good luck on your restart. Sounds like the year so far hasn't been great but fingers crossed now is the right time to start over and get focused.

Its not good starting a diet when you're going through something emotional so now your OH is home you can both take stock of the year so far and focus on making the rest of the year a healthy and positive one.

All the best for you both.
