Gallete

In attack, we have to eat 1.5 tablespoons of oatbran per day (google oatbran and you'll read about the good effects it has... NOT oat flakes, but oatbran).

In cruise, we have 2tablespoons.

A galette is made with the daily dose of oatbran, spoonful fromage frais, egg (or just egg white), and perhaps some flavouring, smoked salmon or whatever you fancy... and you dry fry it like a pancake.

The oatbran can be used to make muffins with (see recipe thread... I've photographed mine and put the recipe), cakes, pizza bases etc.

Most of us hated it the first time we tasted it... but now wouldn't be without it.

Ahh real food im hungry just thinking of it!!!:) xx

My thoughts exactly! The galette is the highlight of my food day, especially on PP days.

Ah well this diet will be right up your street then... FOOD! Morning noon and night! REAL FOOD... ok perhaps not as we knew our plates to be filled "before", but that's what got us here in the first place!

Vicky's got me marinating turkey, chicken etc. and the flavours are awesome!

My first Galette was a disaster, but my 2nd and 3rd were sublime

and my little muffins, made with same ingredients as a galette, and I put a piece of smoked fish in the bottom of each, and 1/3 of a crabstick on the top of each, are to die for! (3 per day makes the dose - and makes it far easier when travelling and need something transportable to eat discretely!

On attack, and PP (pure protein) days, you can serve them veg/salad with whatever main course. The main thing is that it can only be very lean (ie usually the most expensive) cuts of meats (no pork, no lamb, and only lean beef) so you might prefer to keep giving them "normal fodder" while you live it up a little!
