Morning all!

Just wondering if anyone can offer some advice.

I got my 8 refeed shakes from the pharmacy yesterday. I actually meant to get 9 because the pharmacist had advised me to stick with two shakes and 1 meal for the first 2 days, and do a day less of days 4-7 at the end.

So yesterday, I had one shake and my meal. It was lovely but I was a bit worried I had too much salad, but that's probably being a bit obsessive. I had 3.9 oz of chicken, cause that was the size of the breast and it looked really big anyway. I used 1-cal cooking spray, which has no carbs-I think that would be ok?
Also used 2 cloves of garlic to fry the chicken. D'oh! As they are 1g carbs which I didn't realise. Felt very bloated afterwards but I did eat it quite quickly so that could be why.

So, I mistakenly mixed my third shake with water and 2 sweeteners. Didn't realise till after I put it in that it was chicken! No!! I don't have time to go to the pharmacy cause it is wuite far away and not convenient as I am finishing my thesis for Monday.

So any opinions on if it is ok to have had just one shake and one meal yesterday, and have the same today? And then move on to one shake two meals tomorrow and finish the refeed from there? I know for nutrient's sake etc. I should get the shakes but it's really not convenient now! As it is all about slowly re-introducing carbs I would imagine that is the important thing?

Sorry for the epic post, would really appreciate any thoughts! Pretty terrified about getting this refeed wrong!

Thanks x

Hey, so decided to have 2 meals today plus my shake. Need to do loads of study so felt that I needed the energy. I do feel very bloated though. It was the same last night. Is this normal?

Thanks!

Hey, refeeeding made me feel horribly bloated too but it does pass. It was extra bad cos I have IBS so the bloating was terrible. It does pass tho on the bright side! Cos of my troubles I had to get digestive enzymes from H&B which did help me but you shouldn't need these if u don't have any medical condition. Chew lots and eat slowly it'll help u digest it better. There is bound to be some sort of bloating after not eating for so long. Best of luck x

Oh guys I'm so glad to hear that! I woke up this morning and my stomach hurts its so swollen! I'm on the last day of re-feed week and I feel as heavy as the day I started LT!!

Just carefully refeed and keep your water intake as it will help with the digestion issues.
