Stepped on the scales after my first week of CCing, and I've lost between 3 - 4lbs! (the weight seems to differ when I'm trying to convert kgs into stone and lbs!)

Really happy with that, as it's been TOUGH! Had quite a few evenings out.

Here's what I've had. When I state timings for exericse, I mean "going mental and feeling like I want to die at the gym", so doesn't include stuff such as my hour of walking to and from work every day.

I don't quite know how I'm going to face another week. It's been pretty hard for me. I just need to delve deep and find the motivation. I'm already pretty sick of eating celery and hummus!

Thank you for all your help in keeping me going on this forum. Your stories and your progress really give me a boost.
 
Wow! What a great start - well done xx Reading other diaries might help you find some alternatives to celery and hummus, but the great thing about calorie counting is you can eat what you like as long as you add it all up. I found a pizza yesterday, that was 351 calories for 1/3 of the whole pizza - perfect, with a HUGE plate of salad to fill the space, yummy!

It's worth saying that the medium sized Sloppy Guiseppe Pizza Express pizzas you buy in Sainsburys (maybe other supermarkets too?) are about 650 calories for a whole pizza and it's REALLY yummy! Plus they're currently on offer for £2 each.

Well, I weighed in this morning. Haven't lost any weight, but at least I haven't gained any. It's disappointing, but at the same time, I know I've been out a lot this week, including a wedding, a pub outing, a trip to the cinema AND a restaurant.

I just need to tell myself not to lose heart and keep going!

That's really good to go to all those events and not gain anything! Luckily, my social life is absolutely non-existant at the moment, so I don't have that temptation hahaha!

Keep it up, hope this week has been better for you, it's a marathon and not a sprint so don't get too disheartened if the pace backs off for one week, it's just motivation to step it up the week after :)

With all those social occassions I would count stay the same as a result :)
