Firstly, may be a bit daft but, are we allowed to drink bottled water? :silly:don't know why we shouldn't...just curious.

Secondly, I'm suffering terrible hiccups and windypops:eek:....result of ss'ing? It started a couple of days ago and i've just had my first bout of hiccups of the day. grrr!

I've not had anything different, just the usual three shakes a day and about 7/8 pints of water. No extras and definately no bars...just incase they start me off on the slippery slope of eating. Any ideas anyone?

Don't know about the wind ... maybe it's just more air being swallowed as you're drinking, not eating.

As far as bottled water is concerned - yes! As long as it's not flavoured (with a very small exception ... 'Perfectly Clear: Strawberry & Kiwi') it's fine. I only drink bottled sparkling water as plain water can make me gag.

if you drink your water out of a glass, use a straw as it stops you gulping air down, may stop you getting hiccups too.. also an easy way to get rid of hiccups is to sip a glass of water while someone blocks your ears, sounds daft but does work :D

Sucking on an icecube works too, as long as you suck hard (!), regulates your breathing and therefore gets rid of the hiccups.

lancslass53...I thought you were going to tell me to drink while upside down then... lol. (before I finished reading the sentence) :) Thanks guys. well, i've only had hiccups twice today, which is good and the rumblings seem to have calmed down too. I've started drinking my water with a straw too so maybe that has helped...takes ages to get my pint of water down though but if its helped the hiccups, i don't mind :)
