Ideas for FISH please

Inspired by snuggles fishy week thread im gonna give it a bash to try and get back on track, trouble is im struggling for ideas with the fish, so if anyone could maybe write in some recipes here, me and others may gain a little more cooking skills. Ill be buying the usual stuff other buy? will probably do this on red as im useless with doin lots of veg.

tinned sardines (on toast or jacket, heated up or cold?)
tinned pilchards (is this same as sardines?)
Crab sticks (maybe with prawns in a salad & sauce but how does one make it?)
tinned kippers
tinned mackeral
fresh cod
fresh haddock
other fish?
salads (what does one put in there salads?)

fish pies? (gonna try the jamie oliver one)
fishcakes (tried salmon ones but didnt like)
fishfingers
etc etc etc

JUST need some ideas, specially making that sauce for the prawns, yum yum.

I do have a few ideas ive grabbed of here so ill post them for starters.
 
Fish Pie serves 4 (dont know about syns or owt sorry)
500g potatoes
300g cod or haddock
300g salmon
100g prawns
200g frozen garden peas
1 small tin sweet corn
1pkt of cheese, parsley or holladaise sauce depending on preferance

Peal and boil spuds for mash topping
Cook frozen peas
Season fish with salt n pepper,
poach both lots of fish together in milk for about 20 mins.
Reserve milk for sauce
Flake fish into pie dish, add prawns, sweetcorn and peas
Make sauce as per pack instructions, pour over fish and stirTop with mashed spuds, you can top with cheese if you like
Bake in oven 200, for 25-30mins
 
HADDOCK KEDGEREE - serves 4 (sorry dont know syns)
567g/1lb 4oz skinned haddock fillets
1 red onion
227g/8oz long grain rice
1 bay leaf
2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
juice of ½ lemon
a couple of good pinches of cayenne pepper
salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 hardboiled eggs
Method
1. Poach the haddock fillets in simmering water for about 8 minutes.
Drain off the water into a measuring jug and top up to 600ml/20fl oz with water.
Flake the haddock and keep warm.
2. Finely chop the onion and place in a large pan, pour in 113ml/4fl oz of the
reserved fish liquor and cook for 15 minutes until soft. Add the rice,
bay leaf and remaining fish liquor. Bring to the boil, cover and cook for
15 minutes or until the rice is soft.
3. Stir in the flaked haddock, parsley, lemon juice and cayenne pepper,
season to taste and serve with quartered hard-boiled eggs.
 
Jamie olivers fish pie
Serves 2
Syns = FREE + 1 HEXA

Potatoes
2 x Carrots, Grated
1/2 x Red Chilli, finely chopped
84g Reduced Fat Cheese, grated
2 x Tomatoes, chopped
Handful of spinach
150g Prawns
100g Cod
100g Smoked Haddock
1/2 Lemon
Dried Parsley
Salt and black pepper

1. Peel and chop potatoes and boil until soft. Mash, season and put to one side.
2. In a oven proof dish add your grated carrot, cheese, tomatoes and spinach.
3. Chop your
fish into bitesize pieces and add to the dish along with the prawns. Squeeze over the lemon juice and season with salt, black pepper and add a sprinkle of parsley.
4. Top with the mash potato, spray the top of the mash with frylight and pop in the oven for about 30 mins..

The amount of potatoes and
fish will depend on the size of your own dish and the portion size you want.

Just play around with it as its FREE and only 1 HEXA for the cheese.
 
When i did sw one of my favourite lunches was makerel in tom sauce stirred into some cooked pasta with some grated cheese ( hx of course ) ,the other thing i really like is to spread some pesto ( dont think its too high in syns) onto a fish fillet before baking-nice with new potates and veg
 
Speedy Prawn Curry

4 garlic cloves
2.5 cm fresh root ginger (we use lazy ginger)
2 tbsp curry powder
400g can chopped toms passata
1/2 tsp artificial sweetener
567g cooked prawns
200g v low fat naturalyogurt
S & p
Fresh coriander

syn free

1/ Peel and crush garlic and grate ginger. Place in a pan with curry powder, tomatoes and sweetener. Bring to boil cover and simmer for 8-10mins.
2/ Add cooked prawns and cook for 2-3 mins. Remove from heat and stir in yogurt. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped coriander.

would that be on the extra easy with having pasta mommy
 
Prawn and bacon frittata
Serves 4, SYN FREE!
INGREDIENTS
1 medium potato
1 red pepper, finely chopped
6 rashers bacon medallions (trimmed of fat)
5 king prawns, sliced in half along the vein
6 eggs
Heaped tablespoon quark
1 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
2 plum tomatoes, sliced
Fresh chillies, chopped
Handful of frozen peas
Fresh coriander
Salt PepperAll purpose seasoning
METHOD
Boil the potato until al dente, set aside to coolFry off the bacon in some fryight until cooked. Add the garlic, chillies, onions and pepper and cook until softened.Add the frozen peas and allow to cook for a couple more minutes, season with salt, pepper and all purpose seasoning. Add the fresh coriander, Transfer to a flan dish (sprayed with frylight), spreading out well, slice the potatoes and lay on top of the sauteed veggies.Thoroughly beat the eggs and quark together, season with a little salt and pepper and pour over the vegetables.
 
Prawn taglitelli
This dish is amazing and completely free on green if you use prawns as a healthy extra (142g).
ingredients.
Low cal spray
two small mushrooms
tin toms
salt & pepper
chilli flakes
taglitelli
284g prawns (serves 2)
Basil.
1. In a wok, fry the sliced mushrooms in fry lite until golden. Season with salt and pepper.
Add 3/4 pint of water and stir and mash a little, leave on the heat for ten mins.
2. Add a tin of chopped toms and as many hot chilli flakes as you like. I usually use about a teaspoon and a half.
Heat for about another 5-10.
3. In the meantime boil a pan of taglitelli pasta.
4. Now add the prawns to the dish and cook for just 5 mins and add some chopped basil.
5. Drain and add the pasta to the mix, turning the pasta into the sauce and prawns.
