Defecting from Lipotrim....

Hello,

I started Exante today after being a lipotrim for a month and refeeding for my birthday last week.

Really want to get down to 9.7- a healthy weight! am currently at 10.11 after a big birthday blow out.

had previosly lost 4 stone through lipotrim and healthy eating and exercise and lost another stone since 26th June but they dont run maintenance at my pharmacy and i found the shakes and especially the chicken soup :jelous: were all pretty gross. thought i would try exante as its a bit cheaper with their 4 week pack and the variety of flavours is dazzling after the mingingness of lipotrim!

had a tomato and basil soup plus a banana shake plus half a bar which i'm going to finish now.

i'm a bit worried- these taste so much nicer than lipotrim- does it actually work?

has anyone else changed from lipotrim to exante and still had good losses?

love minimins!

People say that Exante products taste much better, to the point that on person questioned "can it taste so good and actually work". lol. Also....cheaper if you buy the bumper pack :) xx

yes it does work ive lost 20lbs in 4 weeks !

I too am a defecter and I am in love with Exante. I am loving the nutty bars and they are sooooooooooo much nicer than the sawdust and compost bars of Lipotrim. I also adore the variety of the soups. The only one I'm not too keen on is the tomato and basil but they are all so yummy its just like having a cuppa soup.

I'm finding the losses better than lipotrim and its not as hard as i have more variety. The ability to have a bar I actually enjoy helps with the craving of wanting something to bite into and chew.

I am also drinking at least 3 litres of water a day. This is really important and I'm convinced it is helping more with the losses especially as I like to have a bar every day for breakfast.

The shakes are ok but Im not overly keen but I didnt really enjoy them on Lipotrim either.

All in all I am very glad that I started my journey on Lipotrim as I have that as a guide. I am happy to have moved to Exante and feel that for me it was worthwhile getting that grounding on Lipotrim and the weekly weigh ins with my pharmacist. I now feel strong enough to continue this in my own way and feel a lot more in control of what I eat.

Dont get me wrong there are still days when I could happily dive into a bag of bacon crisps but I also know what makes me want to do that and how I would feel afterwards.

I'm hoping to lose 20lbs by the end of August but I know that is a tough call so I would be happy getting 15lbs off.

Good luck and I hope you enjoy the variety as much as I do!

Hello again JR! I am a fellow defector and the 'food' is definitely nicer over here. You can see from my stats below that things slowed down a little for me on Exante - but I had lost a spectacular amount during my first two weeks. I hit a plateau and decided to do Atkins for a week instead of Add A Meal week. I'm back on Exante - the jury is still out, but I have a fortnight's worth of grub left, if it works, I'll buy another month. If it doesn't, then back to LT. People over here are losing really well on Exante, so it does seem to work...

Oh there's no question Exante works! I love the convenience of it as well ie buying online without going to a meet/pharmacy/counsellor ETC. Stick to it and your results will soon speak for themselves! Good luck.

Exante is loads nicer than Lipotrim I can not believe the difference, everything is much tastier I am on day 5 and loving every minute of it never thought I would say that never tried a VLCD before I just wish I had discovered it years ago.:D

I can't wait for my exante pack to turn up! I sooo need to chew something and after originally saying I liked the chicken soup I now find it pretty grim!

I'm really looking forward to the convenience of the bars too, at the minute I always find I'm not somewhere I can prepare my second shake and am gnawing my arm off by the time I can have it.

I just need to do this for a month then I'm on the home straight (hopefully)

Lisa if you didnt mind the chicken soup which i thought was palatable you are going to love the exante ones the veg one is lovely, the others are nice too i havnt tried the tomato one yet maybe tonight, also the flapjacks are really nice they remind me of the rice crispie bars you can get not like the Lipotrim ones which stick in your throat, they even broke my brace lol. Hope you enjoy it I really am x

Great, it all sounds so encouraging! I'm really struggling on LT now, I'm hoping that a change is as good as a rest!

Those bars sound too good to be true and the thought of more than one flavour of soup really fills me with hope!

Hi Lissaberry,

How did it go on the exante? I am doing LT% and am getting really fed up with the lack of variety, made even worse by the fact that I actually only like the chocolate shake. I have been doing really well and have lost a lot of weight in 5 weeks but would chew my arm off for another flavour on my taste buds. Please let me know what you think about the Exante products. Thanks
