First Post - Hi!

Hi,

This is my first post after lurking on the forum for a while.
I live outside the UK and WW isn't available here so I am following the program on my own.
I've calculated my points etc and a friend gave me a lot of recipes from the WW site which I am using. I'm also using a point counter app on my blackberry which is very handy!

One thing I am not sure I am doing correctly is calculating recipes (non-WW). Is it right to check each ingredient points and just add them together? I'm not counting most of the veg as the majority of it appears on a free foods list I have - would you say this is the best way to work things out?

It's taken me a little while to get things completely organised - I'm now following a 7 day meal plan plan which I will change every 4 weeks so not to get bored.

Any useful hints on things I might be missing as I can't do classes? I've already read so much on here and it's a great help!

Thanks

Thanks everyone!

I'm having my first weigh in on Thursday morning so fingers crossed.

I've also just had the most amazing dinners 2 nights in a row, both Weight Watchers Online recipes, Chicken Korma with apple & banana and Pea, Spring Onion and Rocket Risotto - 1st one 5pts (inc rice) and 5.5 for a huge dish!
