Apple & Cinnamon Porridge Qs

Hi Everyone

Is it ok to have 2 A&C porridge along with a bar per day? My CDC has said it is ok to have 2 A&C per day but at the time, my 3rd pack was a soup so for next week I'm considering bars but not if it will hinder my weight loss along with having x2 A&C.

Many thanks,
TC

As far as I'm aware it should be fine. Some people survive on three of the same product every day.

Each product has a third of your RDA for vitamins and minerals, and this includes the bars.

As long as you are happy (and remember to drink a little more water if you're having bars) you should be fine. If you are worried, take a multivitamin.

The bars do have slightly more calories than the other products (which is why you're only supposed to have one apparently), but you should still be in Ketosis if you have bars after week 2.

I'm not an expert or a CDC, so it's always best to double check. My other half sometimes has 2 chocolate tetras and one bar a day without problems.

the only product with restrictions is the bars, all the others are fine to have as many as your days totals in.

other additional extras that are restricted is the water flavorings (1tsp) and the mix a mousse (1 blue scoop)

Thank you for replying. I'll get bars this week along with the A&C porridge which I love or I may also try alternating on some weeks with 3 porridges per day and see if the losses stay the same. I guess every CDC gives different advice/suggestions as to how many A&C porridges you are allowed per day - mine suggested 2. I do love the leek & potato soup but for some reason, its starting to make me gag such as today

The reason why your consultant recommended 2 max A&C is probably because the porridges contain just a tiny bit more carbs compared to the shakes.

This wouldn't be a problem for the vast majority unless they were very sensitive to carbs.

I guess some Consultants err on the side of caution with this.
