Fed up

TrueBlueAngel

I WILL be thin!!
I had my 2nd weigh-in this evening and STS! :cry:I dont know why. Totally fed up, especially as I only lost half a pound in my 1st week. I've been doing EE with hubby (who has lost 4.5lbs in 2 weeks) and we have agreed to try red and green days for the next week to see if that help.
Oh well, carry on!

That does sound incredibly frustrating but it's good that you haven't gained! I see from your sig that you've moved from the Cambridge diet to SW, this might be time where your body is adjusting as these diets are so different from each other.

Definitely stick at it, add a few red and green days and see what next week brings. Maybe add some more super speed foods such as raspberries, strawberries, baked beans and mushy peas to give you a boost.

Good luck!

No, I havent but my C has my food diaries and cant see anything wrong with them. I even did an uptake on fruit and veg this last week, especially superspeed. No idea what happened but as suggested, it might be the fact I've done the Cambridge diet before starting SW, though I did go badly off track between the two.

I would say that if moving over from CD then it is most likely your body re-adjusting.

Also - EE doesn't seem to suit everybody, so maybe the mix up of red/green will help.

Good on your for sticking at it, hope next WI see's a good loss :)

bless you dont give up,
the girls on here give amazing advice that makes you relise this is do able.
why not try a fishy week, from the thread on here its clear it boosts your weight loss
just a little idea for you.

I totally understand how frustrated you are, my first week I STS. I was mortified as I stuck to it 100%

The following week I lost 3lbs, then it's been steady from then on, averaging 1lb a week. Ok it's not as quick as I wanted (we all want it to happen overnight don't we?) but I am happy with this as I should reach target before my holiday :fingerscrossed:

Are you still filling in your diary? I filled mine in for at least 6 weeks until I was absolutely confident I knew what I was doing.

My husband is doing it with me too and he always does better than me (men do anyway) but don't let this put you off. The suppport and encouragement off each other is invaluable.

We also decided to get off our lazy bums and we try to go for a walk every night and have also bought bikes which we go out on each week-end.

If you have any questions, everyone on here can help you.

Good luck to both of you!

I would say its definitely your body getting used to eating regular meals again after CD.
Also, please dont compare your losses to your Hubby. Its a really annoying fact that when men do the SW plan they loose weight a lot quicker than women.

It will come off Hun, it just may take another week for it to happen.
