Questions re my new Actifry

My new Actifry has just arrived and I have a couple of questions! 1. Do you really have to dry your chips before putting them in? 2. I've read on here about spraying the chips with Frylight before cooking as it's healthier than cooking oil. But is it really safe to use Fry Light? I'm a bit worried now! 3. Do they taste as nice cooked with Frylight as they do with oil? 4. What else have you/do you cook in yours, other than chips?

they are fine with FL.just like syn free chips.
I sometimes use 1 tbsp of oil(6syns)which shared betwwwn the three of us works out at 2 syns each. These are like real chips.
It depends on what you prefer.

I like both. you could use the oil
as a ahexb if you like.I dont always dry the chips. It depends on your taste. Obviously dont do it with dripping wet potato but damp is fine. Try both to see what you prefer.

iI have done wedges, roasties, really chin crisp like pots as well.
You can do chilli and lots of things the booklet will give you more ideas.
I love my actifry.

I always dry the chips because that's what the instructions say, and anyway I always used to dry them when made the old-fashioned way.

I have done them with oil, and with Frylight, and they are a bit nicer with oil so use that if you want to and have the syns to spare. Otherwise Frylight is fine.

I now have the SECOND portion of chips cooking - they are soooo nice!

Thanks both of you, for your advice :)
