going on holiday- and starting up again?

im going away next week but will stay on TFR whilst im away , but then i have a 10 day holiday in september which i plan to re feed before i go and then go back on TFR on my return? how have others managed whilst on holiday and have you found it hard returning to TFR?:confused:
 
Im interested in finding that out too Molly as I'll be in the same boat as you but going to refeed next week!
 
Maintenance on holidays perhaps and then TFR when you come back. I've done that but not for holiday purposes!
 
Hi I went on tfr for seven weeks did 1 week refeed then went on holiday for two weeks. It is nearly 2 weeks since I returned from hol and I have just restarted tfr. I gained 3lbs whilst away which I don't think is too bad. I ate what I fancied but I stopped when I felt full.

I am on day three and am already in ketosis I can't believe it but am so happy. Yesterday was difficult as I felt so starving and weak but today I feel great. I have not found it difficult to restart in fact I was really looking forward to it. I also found whilst on holiday I had more control of my eating than I have ever had after I have come off any other diet. I love LT and am so confident I am going to lose all my weight and keep it off. Even if that means returning to LT from time to time.

My advice is don't be afraid to come off tfr for a holiday or a break just make sure you refeed beforehand (very important) and be totally commited to returning to it.

Yes, refeed to the letter and you will be fine. It will probably motivate you for round two as you will feel and look much better on your holiday.
 
Good advice Catt thanks i was wondering if other people had done it in two parts I originally told myself i would do 12 weeks so I think I will be able to have a carefull break and then come back to loose the rest.
I seem to be doing mine in little stints!
