arggg! flaming weekends!

god i so hope i am not the only one but the weekends really do me in, i have something on almost every weekend (girlies night out last week, christening this week,another next week)....i lost 3lb after the girly night last week but this weekend i have done it again! its the bloody alcohol!...i am very very good from Monday morning onwards (weigh in thurs) is anyone else the same? i am just hoping i get a lb off this week as i have just booked a holiday and have 15 weeks til i go, i was hoping for a lb every week from now until then, thats a sensible target and i would be pleased if i could do it..a stone would be great before i go.
 
Hey Rach, I doubt you're the only one!

I have things on most weekends, nights out etc. But as I am on xenical I cant ever give in to temptation!

thanks for the reply, i think i will need the luck this week, i am drinking gallons (well ok, pints lol) of water hoping i can flush out a bit of badness x
 
Weekends are the work of the devil lol, if you have a busy social life its even harder. I do sympathise, our weeks are usually pretty ordered, you have a routine and its easier to stick to it, but come the weekend its easy to let go.

Keep your holiday in mind and try to minimise the damage. Im sure you know all the tricks, so just employ a bit of willpower and visualise your slim self on holiday.
 
I have the same trouble, my friends want to go to eat and its not so much the food i manage to eat well its just the drink ! They alwayss say oh go on and i think ahhh !! I have learnt to say no now and am doing very well. Its my last day at work tomorrow before the holidays as i work in a nursery and have been given 3 box of choc and a cake from the kids and have given them to my partner lol xx
 
being a student i get this everyday! lol. being on summer break is giving me a chance to sort out my weight etc and get into a more disciplined routine for when i go back! but even back home there is always something going on! x
 
Good luck rach :) Maybe you could try to do something every 2nd weekend or every 2 in 3 weekends, to give you a chance to lose weight? Although you have a very sensible target so I'm sure you'll manage :) I find it hard losing weight when I have something planned, so I try to lose more the weeks I have nothing on :)
