I have it with brown rice - it is yummy!!!! In fact one of my fav green day meals now!!

They don't sell it at my local Asda. So bummed!!!! I couldn't find it anyway, nor could the two employees there either. They talked me into buying a lentil dahl though, from Ainsley Harriot. Dry in a box! So wondering what that's going to be like!

Could someone post a pic of the chick pea dahl please? Desperate to check this out!!!

Just to let you know - Morrison's also do a chickpea dhal. I read on here somewhere about it, so if you do a search you may find the thread. Not sure if its still free though??

I bought the Chickpea Dahl and had it with rice... it's absolutely amazing.

Lovely with chips too. I normally bulk a tin out with mushrooms and peppers because my son always wants to share!

I just have mine from tin, heated with Batchelors mild curry rice and maybe some syn free chips...feels really naughty, but is delicious!

its one of my favs too - dont think i could do SW without it!! i just have it boiled rice, i have a 'rice boy' which is another brilliant invention.

I've had it with boiled brown rice and found it was too stodgy and bland. Would definitely add a heap of veg next time and maybe some chilli and coriander!!

I've just had this for my tea and had it with savory golden rice - yum yum!

I usually have it with SW chips or rice. I also often have it with veg - cook some frozen broccoli, carrots, etc in my steamer and mix it in. Bulks it out into a gorgeous veggie curry!

have to join the chorus and ask what is a rice boy - tried to google it and I got links to a web comic - don't think that's right somehow

i do the same add mixed frozen veg with it and serve with rice and a spoon of fat free plain yoghurt.

the ainsley dry packet dahl is lovely i buy a few in at a time.
